I am being utterly, utterly, utterly biased here but I am honestly glad he did. Clamp's published work for Rolo is rather dismal so it's lovely to see more; seeing him paired with Nunnally like that is wonderfully heart-warming as well.
Though to be fair - other than the character sheets there wasn't that much of Kallen either... :/
