If you could have a geass...

Would you want one? What kind would you like and why? Would you be able to handle the side-effects? Those who paid attention to the anime knows that having a power such as the geass comes with a price. For me, the thought of having people obey my every whim, read other people's minds may seem appealing at first, but if I was really offered such a power, I'm not sure if I would want it because I might be tempted to abuse it or even worse, be driven insane by it. Any opinions?

If I had a geass, it would probably never take the form of absolute obedience like Lelouch's. I don't know, but it's just something I don't desire that much compared to Lelouch.

Mine might take the form of C.C.'s desire to be loved, or maybe a desire to be able to go back in time to 'redo' or 'remake' decisions (although I realize that would sort of destroy the whole purpose of living/growing-up-from-your-mistakes, yes, but that's what I would deeply feel anyway after periods of lots of procrastination...).

I believe it would be hard for anyone to resist geass, if theoretically, it gives them the power to grant their deepest desires... Even if other things get destroyed by the geass, those things are not as important to the Geass user than that deepest desire... But it would depend on the strength of that desire vs their value for other things.
