I saw photos of illustrations from the newly released Heroine's Tribute book and this one caught my attention immediately. My mind was going like:

Whoa, is that Lelouch masquerading into a book filled with women? Wait, who's he holding? That's not Nunnally's haircut...Knight outfit...oh gods, is that Marianne? T-T-Time paradox!

Does anyone have a bigger scan of this picture?

Photo of other illustrations in the book:

Usually I dislike poster books filled with girls and done by doujin artists, but I have to say I'm very fond of Anya, Nunnally, and Kaguya (DFC, unite!), so I just might pick up this book later...

All credits go to Monpuchi of Moeyo.com.

I am slightly interested in this series you speak of.

The Avengers, over in Marvel Comics. Psycho AI Ultron hates his creator, but is obsessed with his creator's (now ex-)wife. At one point, Ultron built a girl-bot (appropriately named Jocasta) and tried to upload his 'mother's' mind into her, but when he figured out that would kill Janet, he opted for coding a copy mind instead. (Jocasta's still running about with bits and pieces of Janet's mind in her, though how much she acts like her depends on the writer.) Then, in a much later encounter, he hijacked Iron Man's armor (which was at the time biomechanically connected to Tony) by viral infection and reformed the armor and Tony into a naked metal clone of Janet with Ultron's mind in it. Ultron's got issues.

Awesome.
I really need to get back into reading comics again.

That may or may not be a good idea. While they've been spitting out some good crack on occasion (like the aforementioned Girl-tron story, and just about anything pertaining to Deadpool, The Incredible Hercules, and the Agents of Atlas), Marvel's been in a neverending spiral of angst over the past few years that would put CLAMP to shame, with a lot of idiot plots thrown in.

Thanks for the heads up.
*sigh* I should just stick to Deadpool then... and whatever Pietro pops up in ^^
I miss scans_daily...

Psst, it's over on insanejournal now.

He's been popping in and out of Mighty Avengers lately, if you need a jumping point. Though figuring out what the everlovin' hell is going on might take a few trips to Wiki unless you want to have to read a bunch of depressing titles.

Yeah but I don't have a IJ account. It's just not the same :(

Nowadays I get on wiki for all my comic info. Some stories are just too retarded to waste money on ~_~

I hear that. I've been a lot more careful ever since I ordered Avengers Disassembled off Amazon without checking scans_daily first and ended up throwing it at a wall.
