Maybe it's a holdover from when he was six and wearing shorts just made him cuter and less suspicious until it was too late. 8(

Actually, I just remembered that he's been pictured wearing a black tux with pants a few times (like in the Red Carpet pic and one of the calendars?), but... other than that, I guess he really hates them or something.
