For a second I was like, "Is this a joke post?" when I read "your mom". Not going to download because I've never heard of them. Anybody want to put feedback if they download?
I downloaded it (go to their IRC chan, #your-mom@irc.rizon.net and it has links to direct downloads). I don't speak Japanese, but they spelled Suzaku's name wrong in the title, have some random punctuation errors, and I'm pretty sure the emperor just said "Schneizel" and they translated it as him saying "Lamperouge." I'm about eight minutes in and, hey, it's great because I wanted to know what was going on, but not so great that I won't download from gg when they put out.
I've watched their subs before for Utwarerumono. They tend to pick up shows when the main subbing group is taking forever or behind, haha. They aren't really a bad sub group or anything, but I think I might just wait for gg for now.
They aren't a bad group, they get the main plot points across in their subs, but they do tend to use the oppourtunity to make fun of the characters/dialogue. So basically, I wouldn't take their translations as 100% accurate, but if you're having a hard time waiting for gg to release, it's something to hold you over, :)
I'm back, and I'd say that the sub is pretty decent. Not completely accurate in some of the translations, but you'll get the main points well. If you have the patience, get GG's subs when they come out. If not, DL these subs now, and get GG's later, like I did. :D
I've read some comments about Y-M before, and reading all this, without a doubt I'll wait for gg ^^u
And just a little thing I wanted to point out: fansubbers do this only for fun, and if they want to take a year subbing an episode, they're perfectly entitled to do so. I'm in an (spanish) fansubbing group myself, and sometimes we've been a month or even more behind, and people bitched about us and even insulted us like fansubbing was the only thing we had to do in life. But I didn't want to sacrifice even a bit of quality for rushing and making leechers happy. And we only subbed two series, I don't want to think about groups, like gg, who do quite a few more.
I understand one may get upset for their container/codec choice, and understand everybody is perfectly allowed to choose another group when one gets behind... but please, try to realize that people within a fansub are human beings too ^^
i'm downloading it as usual, coz i have a thing for keeping all versions of code geass that have come out, good or not.
i think it's perfectly fine for fansubbers to take as long as they want. they're using their free time to make these fansubs to share with all the fans. not all fansubbers can be as insane as DB-LE for the first season of tsubasa, the next day O__O;;

Well, I think I'll wait for gg's (nevermind the fact that they're two eps behind =p). Thanks for the link anyway.
