haha sorry. I really was reading along thinking this was the "if only" story that we all wanted and then it all disappeared. at least Kallen HAD understood in the end in the anime so I'm pretty content with that already.
great story! some things that Lelouch said like "lovely" seemed a bit off (it's more like something he'd say to Nunnally) but it was still gave the warm and fuzzy feelings ;D

*laughs* I knew that the general impression would be that this would all be a "what if" or even a "dream" story, so I'm happy that I was able to provide a real twist.

I struggled with that particular line, actually. I couldn't figure out what to say- everything else felt too cliched or out of sync with how Lelouch tends to talk.
