I absolutely love Suzaku and Lelouch,
and Suzalulu will probably forever be canon for me. T_T

I just thought that KOH+'s song "SAIAI"
was perfect for SuzaLulu, lyrically.

Ah, so nice to see my scans there.

And oh! *sobs* The part with Lelouch dying in Suzaku's arms got me AGAIN. Sobs. :-( It was really emotionally done, and then with all the flashbacks of their childhood with the pictures... man, what a tearjerker.

At first, I thought the song sounded a bit too.. romantic for the pairing, because whatever romantic feeling they may or may not have for each other, they still rely on their strong friendship base. But after looking at the lyrics, I really like this song. The lyrics are really fitting, especially,

"You don't have to love me
Just watch me from afar
as I try to be strong
to stay connected with you
because I still love you"

is really spot-on for Lelouch, because he doesn't feel possessive of the people he loves, and only wishes for their happiness no matter what.

And yes, SuzaLulu is a wonderful pairing, and NOT just because they're both hot bishounen and look good together or any superficial reason like that, but because they truly care for each other in a very beautiful way, and have an undeniable bond whether you choose to see it as romantic or not.

So yes. Thank you for this.

That's exactly how the lyrics came off for me too.
Though it is somewhat of a girly song, somehow, after understanding what it means, it works.

I really have to agree though, that the ending of this series is just...
well, I died more than once ^^;
It really is one of the better endings to a series that I've seen thus far XD

Darnit, I still haven't recovered from the last episode. I want to cry every time I see it. The song was so touching and oh so perfect. I agree with Yinake, of course. Lelouch just wants him to be happy.

They will always be canon for me. Always. My OTP. It's justified.

And I love how Yinake's scans are in there. It really looked like rain!

I miraculously had a rain effect in my video maker, so I added that to the scan and voila, it kinda turned out believable. haha XD
