Scanning Doujinshi?

So I received some doujinshi recently...

FUCKYEAH! 80 pound box of homo lovings. Japan you are AWESOME

I would like to share, BUT I NEED YOUR HELP! That's right! I need you to tell me what has and has not been scanned! The one I own that I know is scanned I didn't take a picture of but I wasn't sure about these.

I also need you to translate the titles of these! How can I upload it if I don't know the title? Geass_doujin_1.zip? That would get so confusing! So titles and then we are good to go!

NOTE:
Yes, yes, I plan to scan them all in eventually but I go to school full time, work weekends, and have family obligations PLUS I scan for a number of different fandoms so PLEASE be patient! The sooner I know what has and hasn't been scanned and what the titles are the sooner these get cued into the scanning pile.

OH WAIT I ACTUALLY CAN HELP SORT OF NOT REALLY. The Lelouch/Shirley one hasn't been scanned, but the first one under "crossdressing" has. I know ive read it before, and I don't own any doujins, so yeah.

Excellent! By first do you mean Halcyon Days or Berry Marshmallow? When you say first I tend to start looking from the right but English says left and... I am unsure.

Well on the downside, if I ever want to sell it it will have a bent spine from the scanning. On the plus side, you get scans!

Rolo is pretty much the only reason I watched Geass, so I wanted ones with him more than any one else.

Also, I really like Genderswap Lulu for some reason and man, he makes a really cute loli.

It's not much, but I do know that the Lloyd doujin on the top and center is "Lloyd-san no Kenkyushitsu" or "Lloyd's Labo" (Lloyd's Laboratory). (That one is the first volume, and there's about three or four more in the series.) I know it's been, at least, partially scanned.

Anyhow,I think I've come up with the title of the top-left one. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's "Bakura no Onthology"; a play on words of "Bokura no Anthology". I've checked the comm's doujin tags, and it doesn't look like it's been scanned.

I can't be of any help to you lol but wow thats a lot of Doujinshi, must cost a fortune ^^ I hope you do get to scan these, I know I'd love to see some of them just by the covers XD

Cost me about 0.94 USD per doujinshi when I averaged it out. Group doujinshi lots on Yahoo!Japan, series that have FLOODED the market and are at least a season or two old? You can get 50~75 doujinshi for 1,000~2,000 yen for the whole group. The rest of the cost is shipping to the US. You buy in bulk, and you are bound to get some pairings you aren't too hot on, but you can either sell them, or share them by scanning them and then you get the ones you do want cheap!

But I'll scan as fast as I can, cycling through series and pairings so every one will get some in a timely(-er) manner than if I just did all of one pairing or series at a time. I've been leeching scans of doujins and the like for ten years, I figure now that I have a job I get to return a little bit of what I've gotten. I'm pretty excited honestly!

It has been scanlated there, but I don't know if they have scanlated all *because I think it's a bit confusing, the scene just jumping around and not connected with the previous page*

The keywords I use are 同人誌 (for doujinshi) and then the series name, in this case コードギアス (Code Geass) searching this came up with 470 results, and within the first two are some big, group lots of them!

As far as I'm concern, alot of these haven't been scanned before on either livejournal or aarin. I have seen a few of these floating around on Chinese forums (but translated into chinese of course), but if you would like to leave those out, then please tell me and I'll cross them off the list for you. ^^

Also, one more question. Will you be posting the scans to the doujins on your yves_scans account? If so, I shall watch it for future reference.

Hmmm, well if there are Chinese versions available I might not scan them unless they have big watermarks on them. I've noticed a lot of Chinese groups due that and it's annoying. Or I guess if some one wants to translate them from Japanese I would scna them as well. Or if some one wanted bigger scans, or higher res scans, etc.

Ok yeah, you got me there. Chinese forums do use very large watermarks and the majority of the doujins that I did obtain from those forums do normally have those said watermarks. Seeing as someone has already given you a list of the scanned english doujinshi, then I guess there's nothing more I can do to help you right now.

The compilations are thick, the hardest part about scanning them is bending the spine perfectly evenly so the pages come out straight, but they are worth it!

Oh that would be FANTASTIC! The already have titles for ALL of the Rolo ones, but none of the others except ones that have been confirmed scanned already.

Feel free to use the pictures! I'm not actually rich, I just worked a lot of hours and bought these super cheap. I have about 400 doujinshi total (not all Geass!) and I estimate I have spent about $1000 on it all over the course of almost ten years (I've been buying doujins since I was so, so underage, whooops), so it isn't that bad.

Well, can't help much, but the one of Lelouch with him dessed as emperor and some birds aroung him, is called "Beautiful emperor". The one in colors white, black and purple that says 2007.5 2008.2 is called "Sai". The one where Lelouch is a child with a rose in front of his mouth is crimson flower (bet you knew that XD). The one with Lelouch and Suzaku (looking oblivious) with a grey backroung is called "Refrain" (the drug)- The third one with Rolo is "Boku no oniichan" (my older brother). The one with Rolo in a maid outfit id "Honey trap" (bet you knew that one too XD). I haven't seen any of htese puclished. Sorry for not being that useful ^^U
