More Info on New Code Geass Project!

Just saw this on 4chan and Sankaku Complex (site NSFW); there's a magazine scan with more info about the new Code Geass project, and it looks like it will be a full tv series.



Sadly the scan is so poor that I can't actually read much info, but there's something about a "new birth." Probably not a continuation, but a remake of the original series?

May I hope that 'she' and 'she' won't die this time? I don't really like 'them', but 'their' death scene is pretty sad TTATT (though it would make it into a really different story then XD)

If it's a remake of R2 and the ones that Taniguchi had in minds before, I'm not complaining ^^ I heard the rumor of his original idea for R2 got rejected, and he end up doing R2 with lot's of plot holes. And the fact he created Rollo out of frustrations for not being able to expand Suzaku storyline ^^; Oh well, that's just a rumor though.

I liked the plot and ending for the original series. I'm a bit of a sap for tragic stories [Love for X's as well]. I doubt I'll watch it if it's a remake unless it gets alot of good reviews.. Only reason I am for Fma's remake is because it follows a completely different plot so it doesn't feel like a remake. So here's hoping it's worth the watch.

It will be a full TV series? Everything I've seen so far has only confirmed a new manga project. The one with the crazy new expys, being written by Taniguchi(sp?) and drawn by the mangaka of Nightmare of Nunnally.

Unless Sunrise is being a cocktease yet again and dangling a remake of the series in front of us.... Sob, you know we'll all be following that carrot. But I kinda doubt they will. If anything, I'm counting more on an anime of this new manga we were hearing about in the last info post.

If it's a remake, I really hope it's at least series-length, not one or two episodes. For example the Death note anime had a "rewrite" but it was actually a compilation of deleted scenes.

The magazine spreads pretty say the exact same things on the ANN article; possible new musical or stage act, and Kawaguchi would "like to announce a new anime project". Of course by project it can mean anything from a remake to a recap OVA to sidestory OVA or a new anime series. Pitch-Black Renya definitely takes place in the same universe as the Code Geass anime, just in a different time period and location.

I mean, I'm not dissing people who like musicals, but seriously, not too many people are able to go to Japan to see it, and they don't necessarily appeal to such a wide audience. Sure we'd all like to see Lulu and Suzaku pelting out tunes, that's a novelty, but I'm in favour of a new anime instead of a musical production.

I'd be a-ok with them if they did both though :D
