Translation of a recent post-canon PD scan...

Okay, based on this image, which is from the picture drama on the last DVD (thanks to nokiirat!), libekory and I translated the text on the side of the images...


Image 1: In a Knightmare development laboratory somewhere in Japan. The Guren's right arm has been remodeled into a drill, with Kallen as the test pilot. The one responsible for this development is Rakshata. Even though there is no longer an imperial family to serve, it seems that Guilford -- whose eyesight has completely recovered -- continues to stand by Cornelia.

Image 2: The last time we saw them, they were near Britannia. Nina, Lloyd, Cecile are working at the same research and development institution. Arthur has been taken in by Cecile, who has brought him along. In front of Nina is a dubious-looking treat made by Cecile. Nina is on a long-distance call with Milly, who is still a reporter in Japan. Gino, who is no longer nobility and no longer a Rounds, has decided to go on a trip around the world, and seems to have just returned from Central America, from his attire.

Image 3: It seems that a little time has passed since the last time we saw the United Federation of Nations. The representatives of every nation represented in the UFN have gathered to for this conference.


It looks like they might be repurposing the Guren for construction work or something... Gino is a doof, as always. And who is that little blonde girl next to Nunnally?!

I suspected the unknown loli was the EU representative...that completes the set, the postwar Geass world is officially run entirely by early-teenage girls. :D I for one welcome our new loli overlords, and would like to remind them that as an internet-obsessed nerd, I can be helpful in rounding up others to labour in the Barbie factories and making new Twilight movies.

I forgot my canon info, wiki isn't helping much, and I'm way behind on my rewatch of things, so... does anyone know what exactly became of the world and its systems after Lulu kicked the bucket?
Since it seems the UFN is still in place and Nunnally is sitting along with the other representatives... can we assume Britannia still a part of it? *please excuse my stupidly confused dorkiness, sob*

Well, Britannia without its colonies isn't a threat to that system -- I think the problem was that at the last census taken, Britannia was ginormous, so it would have the ridiculous majority, but without the colonies, I'm completely sure they'd let Britannia (or whatever it becomes) in.

I've always been of the opinion that the empire reverts to a democracy; Britannia had a Senate and a Prime Minister to begin with, so after Lelouch dismantles the aristocracy and the House of Lords and makes the monarchy seem like a bad idea, it's a natural progression. Sort of supported since this scan says the royal system is abolished, but it's not really clear what Nunnally's role is... My theory was that Nunnally becomes an ambassador or diplomat, which would work with this.

A lot of people suggest that Nunnally becomes Empress; I'd love to see where that comes from, since that doesn't make sense to me and I've never seen the claim with a verifiable source.

Definitely Kanon, although I'd vote that instead of Mrs Lohmeyer it's someone who belongs to the mystery loli. It's hard to make out on this image, and I'm too lazy to queue up the PD and squint, but if that's Mrs. Lohmeyer, she's gotten a very good makeover!

The same hair color, but I don't think that's the same hairstyle. The hair doesn't come in front of her face, it hangs down around her shoulders, and she is also WAY less curvy than Mrs. Lohmeyer.
