The Bakumatsu Ibun-roku Code Geass manga series has been licensed by Bandai for domestic english release. I don't think any of this manga was ever shared here (no interest?), but it's a one-volume story.
[credits: ANN] There was earlier confusion, but they did not license the Renya manga yet.

I have a copy of the Japanese manga volume. It's a cute one-shot, better than Suzaku of the Counterattack, but nowhere near as good as Nightmare of Nunnally. It takes a lot from Meiji-era history, which might be why it wasn't ever scanned? (Sorry, I lack a scanner or I would have put it up. ^^;)

Personally, I enjoy stories that take place in meiji-era Japan. Although that's always been my taste...

I might consider buying it, but I don't know if I would like it with Code Geass as much...

I don't see what the reasoning was in licensing this, I doubt the demand would be too big. Code Geass is my favorite anime ever, and I still have 100% no interest in this. There's a lot better stuff they could be licensing, like at least one other Code Geass light novel that was in a magazine. At least that story was plausible, unlike this expensive fan fic.

I'm interested in seeing it. It sounds pretty short so it's not a huge commitment. I'm somewhat skeptical but I really hope it's entertaining.
I just wish Bandai would stay focused and actually get Queen out on time.
