I've just read this in Random Curiosity and can't believe it!! The info is from MBS Geass site, but I don't understand japanese at all! XD so I hope they got the translation wrong or something :'( .I don't want to wait for a long time to see how Geass ends! Edit: I've seen ep 23 and they did made an awesome ep! I was dissapointed with ep 24 and 25 to air in summer because I thought they would leave a lot of cliffhangers but it really suits well as the ending of the first season ^_^

Basically, they wasted two weeks on the recap episodes so now they have to put off the airing of the last two episodes because that's the only way for them to not clash with the premieres of the next season's series.

Anyways, I hope they correct this mess because the caesura is definitely an infuriating one. It breaks the momentum...and we'd be beating the iron when it's dead cold and not hot.
Anyway, the ones to blame in the very end would be the audience itself and not the staff. After all, the two recaps were requested by the new fans who wanted to hop on the rolling bandwagon while being appraised of what happened before. So, eventually, we DID lose two time slots due to Sunrise's catering to the fans. Ugh.
Anyway, beggars can't be choosers so I'll stop my rant before it launches into a diatribe full of disappointment.

I share in 4chan's general opinion of "Damn those bastards."

As for the other one, it seems (according to one staff insider on 2chan, nicknamed 'Fake Okouchi') that they were hopping from one foot to the other, not sure whether they'd go along with it or move on, going pedal to the metal. In the end we know what they chose. But according to the same source, they put the moment of respite to contribution by upping the quality for the end of the Island arc.

Ah... Now I know how CC felt about the giant pizza in 21. T_T
But I guess the drama CDs can keep us at bay...
"STAGE 12.55 is about Suzaku visiting Lelouch’s room (where C.C. also is) the night before the decisive battle, and Lelouch confessing his love."
