Summary: Some say meetings are precious moments in one's life and often brings hapiness, but to Lelouch, meeting a certain someone in a certain someday only brings trouble. And thus, his organized life is turned upside down.
WARNINGS: Crack and...wtfness. Oh, and spoilers up to Stage 2. I think.
Prologue. The Fated Meeting
Lelouch V. Britannia, commonly known as Lelouch Lanperouge, or Lulu to a certain some, is a calm, collected person.
He always likes things to be organized and in order, and wants to be in control of his life. He absolutely despises it when he’s caught off guard or when his plan is foiled, or anything else that doesn’t associate with the word ‘organized’.
And staring up at the face of a flurry white creature which had just miraculously fallen from the sky and even more miraculously hit him head on certainly doesn’t count as ‘organized’.
This morning, as Lelouch prepared to cross the bridge leading to the school grounds, he thought he heard a faint voice. He shrugged it off, thinking that it was only his imagination. Besides, he doesn’t have any time to waste since his first class –which is taking place in the science lab- will start in five minutes, and he certainly doesn’t want to get a lecture for being late again. The science teacher isn’t nicknamed Mr. TreatYaBad for nothing.
He heard that voice again, this time clearer than before. And...did it come from the sky?
“Wheeeeeeeeeee!”
Lelouch absent-mindedly wondered if he was going insane.
“Wheeeeeeeeeeee!!!!”
He sensed a feeling of impending doom, his instincts told him to run, but still for some reason unknown to him his feet was rooted at that place. He lifted up his head to see just what had been bothering him, and then-
CRASH!!
Lelouch doesn’t have time to react, it all happened too fast. He vaguely recalled seeing a big white fur ball coming closer and...falling backwards? His body hit the pavement and the impact left him stunned for a few seconds. He thought he could see some yellow stars.
When his blurred vision began to clear, the first thing he saw was the flurry white...thing.
He doesn’t know how to react, for he had never seen such a thing before in his life. It had long, thin bunny like ears with an earring on one of them. A round body, short arms and a pair of big feet was the next thing he registered, and there seems to be a gemstone like thing embedded on its forehead.
Fragments of thoughts began to arrange them in his head. So he was walking to school when suddenly he heard a voice above him, lifted his head up, and the white thing crashed into him. Certainly, the thing itself is probably very light, being fluffily small and all, but it most likely won’t be that light when falling down from the sky. It hit him. He fell backwards. Saw stars. And here he is. Staring at the face of the creature.
Wait a minute...fluffily small? Lelouch wondered if the impact had left him a bit...weird.
Lelouch noticed the white thing was smiling.
Smiling at him, with this big stupid grin on its face, when it just crashed down on him like some kind of atomic bomb or something.
“Good morning~!”
This morning was anything but good, Lelouch thought bitterly, he so was fed up with this that the fact the thing could speak didn’t register to him as surprising.
Suddenly the creature’s smile disappeared, it ears were down by its sides, and it seems to be saddened by something.
“Y-you ignored Mokona...Mokona doesn’t like to be ignored! Mokona is sad...”
What? This thing...Mokona, actually expected me to reply? Lelouch couldn’t believe it. Appalled wasn’t the right word, he was totally shocked, even more than the time in Shinjuku when his plans were foiled.
Before he had any chance to react, Mokona jumped on his head and began to whack him with its little fists.
“C’mon! Say something! Or else...Mokona will cry! “
Lelouch had no other choice than to utter “Good morning” at it.
Mokona immediately cheered up and started jumping on his head.
“Yosh! That’s the way!”
It sounded so cheerful that Lelouch began to wonder if its agony just a moment ago was faked.
“Will you just get off my head?”
Lelouch couldn’t stand this thing with its acts of sadness and squeaky voice anymore. He tried to swat it off his head. Mokona jumped off before Lelouch’s hand was anywhere close. It seemed quite proud of itself in its success of avoiding a smack on its head.
Lelouch got up from the pavement, and deciding to ignore Mokona, he hurried on his way.
Before he managed to even take a step, though, Mokona’s voice cried out.
“Wait! Are you really going to leave poor Mokona here?”
Lelouch considered giving it the cold shoulder, but it sounded so desperate that he couldn’t help but turn his head.
There it was, ears down by its side again, looking very gloomy and staring at the ground.
“B-because...Mokona got separated with Syaoran...and Sakura...and Fay...and Kurogane...Mokona is lost...and doesn’t know where to find hem...”
Lelouch never bothered to ask just who Syaoran, Sakura, Fay or Kurogane was.
“W-when we came to this world...somehow...Mokona couldn’t keep them together...and now we’re all separated...and it’s all Mokona’s fault...”
Mokona couldn’t continue anymore and just stared at the pavement in silence.
For some reasons unknown to him, Lelouch felt pity for this creature called Mokona and didn’t want to leave it alone. He scooped Mokana up in his arms, and, not an expert at comforting people –or creatures, for that matter- patted it on the head and assured Mokona that he’ll take care of it.
Mokona felt unsure at first, and asked, “Really?”
“Really.”
Mokona seems delighted at that answer, and its ears immediately lifted up. But his ears drooped again when he looked very confused at something.
“Mokona wants to know your name.”
“Lelouch Lanperouge.”
It looked happy again.
“Thank you, Lulu-chan!!”
Lelouch knew that what he picked up on that fateful morning was no other than trouble.
Coincidentally, that day was also the first of April.

Author's notes: I came up with this one day as I was angsting(?) about how there weren't any Code Geass fics in the english fandom(at least to me). And being a crackish and wtf kinda of person, I came up with the idea of Lulu meeting with (secret). I'm thinking of leaving it as a one-shot. But I'm also interested in making it into several chapters length(If I do that, you can consider this chapter a prologue)...tell me what you think!
Oh, and this happens to be the entry where I typed "Lelouch" instead of Lulu for most of the time. I kinda pity myself.

Mokona apparently has 108 Secret Skills, but we only know a small fraction of it. I think Mokona usually calls Kurogane by his full name, with exceptions for the times when Fai is teasing him and Mokona joins in, then I think it starts using the nicknames. But usually, it just uses "Kurogane".
