lol not a good choice in music I didn't really like it and I was on the verge of laughing. They could have went with a different BGM.

I think it's a tv series slated for the summer or fall. Plus, with a PV, it should be fairly soon.

If it was an OVA or movie, they would have state it like the Nunnally OVA and separate Code Geass movie already announced. :)

I don't think they would make 2 PVs with the 2 CG boxes and make a huge event to announce a mere series of OVAs. My bet is for a TV Series.

On the other hand, I'm betting it will be an OVA precisely because of those PVs and how long it's taken them to even get this thing off the ground so far. A TV series seems like something they could have done very easily, at least one year earlier or so, without the same production delays and so forth. But I'll admit we don't know. Then again, either way, I'm just glad it's finally coming.

I am excited for this on its own merits, but have a huge laundry list of complaints and nitpicks as far as becoming a part of Geass canon.

Looks fine by me. I don't see too much here yet that would be impossible to explain, considering the lack of information concerning the EU.

As for the BGM...it reminds me of s-CRY-ed, but apparently they're using a different composer instead of Nakagawa this time around.

Is it just me, or is the BGM very Yoko Kanno-ish? The jazzy beats remind me of her.

Thank you for all the updates! The PV was pretty cool, though I'm not a big fan of that BGM and the recycled shots of characters irritated me. I think they showed the same shot of Akito like three times. I mean, come on, really?

I just hope, like the comments above, that they'll give us more information soon about the airdate and/or format... *crosses fingers*

I have to say i was a little disappointed on the setting of this code geass. It might be forgivable if they clarified things about Geass itself that the first two series skipped over. While the characters and animation look great, whats going to be interesting is how they will weave a story from the events of 2017 in this new Series.

Since I know what went on in 2018 thanks to R2 I have some skepticism on how well this new series can "surprise" me.
