Summary: This is what Suzaku wakes up to: a white ceiling, a dead princess, and no memories whatsoever. At rock bottom, he's trying to piece his life back together. And then there is this Lelouch guy who claims to be his boyfriend.

I forgot this bit in my review earlier, but poor Kallen! Here she has this massive crush on Zero, and she finds out that he's apparently dating someone else! And another BOY no less! That would be devastating.

Yep, that was probably one of the worst ways for her to find out.

Before writing this chapter, I hadn't been quite sure how I wanted this "Kallen finds out" scene to unfold, because I needed it to be in this chapter, but I hadn't yet come up with a scenario that I liked. I hadn't spent a lot of time thinking about it before, so I just wrote a few sentences in my outline that she'd basically connect the dots on her own.

But that would have been boring. And not fun at all.

(This was also one of the only scenes that didn't give me immense amounts of trouble for a change.)

I suppose to Kallen, the apparent relationship would explain a lot. Like how Zero was determined to capture Suzaku, rather than allow her to kill him like Diethard wanted her to.

Still wouldn't make it any easier to take though.
