So the triple whammy of anemonesong's angsty Lelouch/Euphemia fic and episodes 19 and 23 inspired me to doodle this... and I half-assed the coloring since I really wanted the clouds in there.  They look a lot older than they're supposed to be, but I suck with drawing people at their correct age. ;x

Very sweet. I don't get why it had to be said she's "probably" his first love. The creators said she WAS his first love, so thankfully we know better than Lelouch.

PS - I forgot. I really liked it by-the-way. And no, I didn't erase my sort of rhetorical question / ranting. I'm fine, really. I never really go for the 'incest' ships, either, but I admit it. This one has appealed to me since the hotel-jacking incident. Off-and-on, anyway (with ep 19 being very persuasive).

I know! But the way he delivered it... Oh, Lelouch. I'm not quite sure what it is about this particular incest-ship -- probably that Euphemia and Lelouch grew up together, and that he obviously still has a soft spot for her in his heart. When I was watching episode 19 and saw that little flashback screen, I died that he was holding hands with Euphie and not Nunnally. Sure, Nunnally's arms were way too short, but still. XD

I haven't watched the episode for me, the series ended at ep 20 I do feel really sorry for Lelouch. I'm sure it was the only thing he could do "for" her at the time. And he obviously hates himself, and he obviously thinks that he's in hell since he claimed he was already contracted to the devil.

The only thing I'm left wondering is why she's his "first" love? Has he felt like he's loved since (and just can no longer remember any of his heart)? Or is it that sort of general statement that is made fondly of someone we know we once loved - regardless of the fact that we've not really been "in love" since that person?

I mean, honestly, he was reaching out to her, telling her about his power. He was reaching out to HER. And she knew more about him than anyone. Because she knew him as Zero, she knew her missing/presumed dead brother was still alive, and he trusted her with that information. With more or less his life - and Nunally's.

But, he wanted her to know...all of him. Even this terrible/great power he possessed. And it chose (hmm, writer intervention?) that moment to go out of control, effectively stranding/abandoning him back in his hell. The path is lonely. He will be alone. And so anyone he tries to reach out to, they'll be destroyed. I think that's the lesson he learned here.

ANYWAY. Back to the ship at hand. Yes! I thought it was sooo telling that he was holding hands with Euphie and not Nunally as well. I could honestly picture them as completely inseparable, and probably the younger Nunally being treated as somewhat of a nuisance from time to time. As kids do to their siblings. And then Nunally's comment about how she and Euphie used to fight over who got to be Lelouch's bride!!! :)

Interesting, though, that Nunally was all about Euphie spending more time with Lelouch, again. Perhaps to try to remind Euphie that she loved her brother and to get away from Suzaku.

Anything Suza-Euphie and Lulu-Euphie, I want on my comm, so don't worry about cross-posting. I do appreciate your wanting to be respectful, and I always feel self-conscious about those sorts of things as well.

I'm thinking it's more along the latter, that he said it because she was his first (and possibly only). I can't really come up with anyone he'd have that strong a love for besides Nunnally.. Shirley sort of comes to mind, what, with the whole realizing-she-meant-more-to-him-than-he-thought. But judging by how he acted towards her in general up until that very moment, I think that's reaching a bit.

Re: reaching out to her... I never quite thought of it that way! That really pushes me in the direction of this 'ship, since it just makes it even sadder.

The bit about Nunnally being a nuisance just screams fanart to me. I'm actually hoping they make a drama track of sorts describing Lelouch's life pre-Marianne's death, just because they've shown enough flashback stills that I'd like to see/hear something of substance.

LOL in a way, I read that as Nunnally being jealous of Euphemia and Suzaku. That would definitely suck, because she probably felt heaps jealous of Euphemia back in the day... and now she has/had another reason.

That is beautiful! The colors, the hand holding, the ALMOST incestuous feelings!

This might be one, if not, the best fan art I've seen of Geass so far. I'm taken aback by the fact it was my short one-shot that inspired this. This fan art is just lovely.

Pft, and people think Lulu/Euphie is somewhat gross? Nobody has read Angel Sanctuary then. The guy actually did bang his sister. And it's my most favorite manga, ever.

I read a bit of Angel Sanctuary and wasn't too grossed out by it. Lulu/Euphie isn't really all that squicky the more I think about it but you know, that could just be me getting wayyyy too into another doomed pairing!

As for what he's wearing -- believe it or not, it's canonical! I went by the outfits they were wearing as children in the flashback scene of Episode 19 (http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/5161/code20geass2020192020laff9.jpg). (Or at least, I tried to.) The colors are entirely my interpretation, as well as trying to make it match with their usual color schemes.
