My connection has been an extreme ass to LJ for the past several weeks and trust me, logging on for this is a veritable pain in the rear, but well...I think this is worthy of some notice?
On April 17th, 19:00-24:00 Japanese time (that is, right now), Biglobe will be---er, is---airing a sample of the drama CD we're all waiting for. Specifically, episode 12.55 : Dream Ticket. Of course, the real thing will come out on the 25th and we'll probably get rips, but why wait?
(Not direct link, you'll have to click on the play button next to the drama CD cover picture. It only works with IE, and you'll have to put up with some commercials before it starts)
Recap : Set in the middle of 12, where Shirley is trying to work herself up to giving Lulu that pesky ticket. She thinks up a number of scenarios :
1) Telling him she has a lot of tickets, so she's shelling them out.
Result ---> Lelouch says "Thanks, I'll take Nanaly. She loves Classics.".
2) Telling him outright that she won't go with anyone but him, but cops out when he asks why and say it's because he looks like he has nothing to do.
Result ---> Lelouch is pissed. He goes into his Zero voice and launches into a tirade on why he most definitely is NOT lounging around.
She then thinks if Lelouch has any other reasons to refuse. And launched into the spiel in which :
1) Lelouch refused her by saying he's promised to marry Kallen. Who sounded so slutty it's hilarious.
2) Lelouch refused her by saying he's promised his future to someone else. (That line in Episode 5) This turns out to be Nanaly, who tells him the wedding is about to start. The funniest thing is probably by how it started with Shirley thinking if Lulu has anyone he likes. And Nanaly going "Zannendeshita~ We're not really blood-related!"
3) A 3 second repeat of above with Suzaku. Of note, he sounds REALLY happy in this case. Shirley, you closet fangirl! ...well, since she comments "No stop stop thinking this I am not Sophie" it appears she is in the 'right' company at least...
4) She is brought back to reality, apparently, by Millay, who says she's been speaking everything out loud. And turns to ask Lelouch if he agrees. Shirley is shocked that LL hears, but conversation is interrupted by him asking Millay where they should take their honeymoon. Everyone x Lelouch happens (Kallen is WEEPY, Rivalz is a pimp, Nanaly is indignant and Suzaku is dead serious), who responds by saying "Hey, there's only one of me". And proceeds to marry ALL OF THEM. Win, Lulu, win.
Millay hits her head and brings her back to reality, where she goes to enact #12's asking out scene. Although he doesn't have that a-do-ra-ble 'Hai!' when she calls him. The CD episode creepily ends with "Thank you, daddy."
You know it's Code Geass when it never lets you forget the mindfuckery. *loves*
The most remarkable thing in here is Lelouch's performance, seconded by Kallen's. You can tell FukuJun enjoyed himself, the 'playboy bishounen' imitations are spot on, and entirely laughable. Who needs comedy shows when you have Lelouch talking like a harem master? Kallen also has a great performance, which says something about how Shirley views her. She is weepy, clingy, and very much like the typical soap opera antagonist. XD While the scripting may be otherwise unremarkable, the sheer novelty value of Lelouch talking like a Shoujo Playboy is very, very worthwhile in an of itself.

I can provide summaries, though, if no one does them before. It's just that I'll likely wait for my CD to arrive.

Not only do I want to watch this now,but Lulu has taken over his harem!

More on Lulu's harem.

FFn is being an asshat. -_-; The idea is appealing, though. XD I mean, there's got to be a reason his family is polygamous! So Lulu can also be polygamous and break no rules at all!
(I'd half-written a fic where Lulu is Emperor and headache-ing over his harem whiel SuzaEuphie is NOT helping. Alas, it was written back at #10 and I stopped when #12 rolled around)
