I've been having this in my head for a long time, along with a few dozen ideas I'm sure will never get drawn. Depicting Lelouch and Euphemia in the garden of their youth (or does it?), with the most badly drawn background ever. Lulu's pants look slightly weird, that's me being horrid with pants in general. -_-

OMG. I just LOVE this! I agree, the presentation is amazing. I actually like the background like that; it gives an ironic contrast between then and now. ;O; Lineart is gorgeous, coloring is gorgeous. Great work!

Aww, verity_isle, this makes me think of the splattered headband Team 7 depictions. The lighting creates the mood even better than the blood here so that the contrast of the cuteness of the photo and the reality of the situation are in complete discord. It's better than a fic.

It's the garden in the photo. The hatching seriously sucks. XD But I was too tired to do it properly by that point, so it was like "Screw this >:[" which is not a nice attitude to have. XD

Thank you for the kind words :D! Plus they're kind words with commentary, which made them better. For the program, it's just good old Photoshop. I've posted two more Geass art on the comm, IIRC. Am planning to post it in fic journal whenever I get a decent amount of them up.

I think you nailed Euphie. Glomping hugging Lelouch's arm is totally what I expect her to do. It would be better if you could somehow add a...wrinkle + old paper effect on the second one.

I could do a sepia tone for old paper effect, but that resulted in being too washed out. My hubris is a tad too strong to let all that coloring go to waste. >_>

'Supposedly' would work if we're in an ideal world. We aren't, sadly enough. Sigh. That way we won't have damned shipwars and a lot of wank would be gone.

(I really just think it's a matter of genre working in a smaller scale. It takes damn fine quality to get a genre reader into reading SF, takes somewhat mediocre quality to get a SF reader to read SF)
