Newtype USA?Oh crap,I haven't bought it or been to Barnes and Noble yet.

Oh well,I still have a [useless] war to wage against them and Gunbuster 2!!XDDD

Ah, I think that's the Japanese April Newtype in the original post. I don't imagine they'd be pimping out Code Geass in NewtypeUSA until it's been licensed and ready to be released.

Newtype USA actually released Code Geass in the April volume.I think they just say anything that's licensed because Gunbuster 2 and Code Geass are licensed but not really "ready" for release.Wait,Gunbuster 2 is on DVD,but not Code Geass.

The only reason I really ever bought the magazine in the first place was because I was afraid[for some reason]that Newtype was going to mess up the characters' names like they did in Gunbuster 2.To be honest,I do slightly expect Code Geass to be on the next cover.Or not.

*STUPID QUESTION* Should I write/email Newtype USA and *try* to correct the name error on the Gunbuster 2 characters?I know I obsess over it,but this is one of my pet peeves.And I've watched the OVA so many times it's not even funny.I've heard the names enough times to know them all.

They did a preview of Code Geass last year too, along with a few of the other fall anime that were "licensed" or likely to be released in the States. Newtype USA doesn't usually throw in free pimpage stuff (like the phone strap) like lots of the Japanese magazines do though. :3

*STUPID RESPONSE TO STUPID QUESTION* Was there ever an official release of English name spellings for Gunbuster 2 like there was with Code Geass? *never heard of Gunbuster* If not, then there isn't very much ground to stand on if you're planning on writing to NewtypeUSA. If there was and they got it wrong, then writing them isn't a bad idea.

*STUPID RESPONSE TO STUPID RESPONSE* Uh...I heard about it from KT Kore in his blog.I started watching and couldn't stop.There are two OVAS(Gunbuster and Gunbuster 2).I'm such a big fan of Gunbuster 2(I really call it Diebuster)that I got overly worked up when they messed up two of the most freakishly obvious names in the series.So I will probably consider writing them...anyone know the actual chances of Newtype responding to a name error?Thanks for the advice anyway!^^
