For some odd reasons,I have been comparing Code Geass with Eureka 7 since I started watching the show.You know what that means everybody...


Before anyone says anything,then yes.I did think over this a little too much.



1.Both countries are ruled/governed by an insane or just plain evil person.

2.Both main antagonists have similar ambitions,similarly colored hair,and exploit people.

3.Both series have at least one evil blond-haired side antagonist.

4.Both series are,obviously,mecha.

5.Scientists play an extremely essential part in both series.Although some are more attractive than others...

6.Both series have humanoid alien species.

7.Both series have a well-known animal "mascot"

8.There is at least one murderous pink-haired main character.

9.The Gawaiin seriously reminds me of theEND.(I think I am not the only one...)

10.There are terrorists.

11.Hm,this COULD be comparison...Kallen and Anemone's voice actor is the same person.

12.One of the main characters is going to be driven to muder sometime...

13.Whenever I look at a Burai or Sutherland model,I'm reminded of a KLF...

14.Both main characters lost their mother.



There were probably others,but it's late as heck now and I can't think.Feel free to add anything.

I've never seen Eureka 7, but this is interesting. Code Geass has a lot of things in common with many other animes too, like Gundam Seed and Death Note. :3

It's a shame I can't really go into detail and point out specific things, 'cos it's late and I have to go to bed now. D:

15. Okouchi Ichiro is a screenwriter for both Eureka 7 and Code Geass XDDDDDD

16. Two of the storyboarders for Code Geass worked on Eureka 7 (a lot of CG's staff worked on E7 actually)

17. Nunnally and Eureka's seiyuu are the same person

18. (young) Norbu and Lelouch are both voiced by Fukuyama Jun

19. FLOW did the first opening for both

20. One of the main mech/animation designers/directors for CG was a
mech/animation designer/director for E7

20. Nakada Eiji was the mecha designer for E7 and CG. That's why the mecha look alike and hey, wheels/sliding.

Wow,I'm a little suprised that a lot of people here have seen Eureka 7(I was thinking no one had seen it for some reason).Guess I was wrong.

I just remembered something:

Studio BONES(the amazing studio that created Eureka 7)was founded by a Sunrise employee or something.

BONES is like Sunrise's offspring.XD Although I think some of the ways the stories are told help one figure out the differences between them.
