So I was working on a Suzaku app for an RP today. And I spent more time writing my sample RP post because my muse was being a PAIN and not getting to the POINT of the sample post.
"Your sample RP and journal posts should reflect when your character first arrives in the city."
And this is what he kept giving me *points down* I thought I'd share them with you guys.
WARNING : SPOILERS FOR EP 19-23
Sample One
Suzaku carefully laid Euphie's phone on the table beside him before conducting a final check on his flight suit. His mind was swimming with the things V.V. had told him but two facts stuck out at him. Euphie was gone, and Suzaku now knew who was responsible.
Was it anger, was it sorrow, was it revenge? Perhaps it was all that and more. All that... and hatred. A hatred so pure he could almost feel his blood turning cold as he thought about what he was preparing to do. Enter a battle with no thought but to kill someone.
Gripping the pin Euphie had given him the day she'd chosen him as her knight, Suzaku gave a last look at his princess. He'd see her again soon. Once he finished this last battle, killed that one person, he'd join her. Because now there wasn't anything left without her.
Turning, he left the infirmary and headed to the hanger bay where the Lancelot was waiting, Float System rebuilt and attached. Cecile-san probably wouldn't like the change in him, he thought as he nodded at the older woman before climbing into his knightmare frame. Wedging his knight pin into the console in front of him, Suzaku pulled out his key and inserted it into the port.
Time to fight. Time to kill. Time to die.
Sample Two
Live. LIVE! He had to LIVE!
Suzaku grabbed at the controls on the Lancelot, but the Knightmare Frame didn't respond. Energy Filler, he needed another one, but there were none to be had. One hand pressed tight to his side, a memory flickered briefly of the gun shot wound that had by chance not ended his life several months ago, and Suzaku wretched at the controls again.
But now it was getting hard to hold onto the control at all. His vision starting to swim, Suzaku pulled his hand from his side and started at the crimson stained white glove for a moment. Not enough time. A sharp cough shook his body and he didn't have to wipe his mouth to know his lips were now stained too. Internal injuries.
How stupid. He'd entered this battle fulling intending to kill him... and he'd failed. Instead... it was Suzaku lying in a disabled Knightmare Frame, smoke blowing across his face through the torn roof of his cockpit. His legs were probably crushed. He couldn't feel them anymore.
He'd failed. Once again he'd failed. Suzaku tried to draw breath for a frustrated yell, but he only suceeded in making himself cough painfully again. How stupid. Maybe he should have ejected while he'd still had the chance... No. Staying with the Lancelot had been the best option for completing his objective.
But he'd still failed. They could have at least finished him off instead of leaving him here to bleed slowly.
"Euphie..." he whispered, as he lifted unfocued green eyes to the sky.
Live. LIVE! He had to LIVE!
Who had told him that, that he had to live? Why did he still try to draw breath when he knew there wasn't anything left? A memory flickered in his mind of another mission when he'd thought he was going to die, a pink haired young woman screaming at him to not die... he'd had this feeling then too.
But he'd still had something to live for then. Euphie, Nunnally, Lelouch, Lloyd-san, Cecile-san, the Student Council... Japan... But he'd given those things up with his father's watch. Now Suzaku had nothing.
And then... it was almost like he felt something snap back into place. Black rushed in, blotting out the sky.
Lelouch's "live" command was bugging the hell out of me as well, as for the RP... I kind of needed Suzaku to be dead. -__- I'm still not sure how I'll resolve that issue, but I want to play him at that RP, so dead his is, and Lelouch's command somehow... superseded.
Of course, it REALLY didn't help that we still haven't seen the last two episodes of the first season. That's probably the main reason my muse was being so difficult. >/ *swats muse* I'm getting really really impatient for those episodes.
>> Luckily, he finally gave me something usable on the third try.
