Okay, why is there no Suzaku/Lelouch fandom yet?

Come on! There's plenty of subtext to work with, people!

Therefore, I've made my own fanart. It isn't romantic but it's Suzaku and Lelouch together, which is a start! It is also heavily based off of the reference images, because I'm not familiar enough with the art to experiment too much.



It's quite small because this is just the lineart. I plan on colouring the real one later.

It doesn't show up on the page for me either, but I can see it on DA. Cute. ^^ We have a fandom! It's just that we only have six episodes, which is...not too much to base things off? At least for me.

I'm inspired! But I'm no good at artwork - I can only do fic, and I require more canon for that. ...that sounds like a good plan of action. *goes to do the same*

As far as I know, the Japanese fans started shipping SuzaLulu (mostly) and LuluSuza (less commonly) before the show even airs. XD;;;

I can't say I'm a fan of the pairing, but I'm surprised about the limited smut on the webz for the series. The Eye of Geass should've inspired half a dozen darkfics/comics by now (yes, Lulu doesn't seem to care about sex that much, and if there's someone he won't Geass, it's probably Suzaku. But since when did Japanese fen care about those technicalities?) but so far there's none. Characterization, though, I think there's already enough materials to write a pretty convincing OS!Suzaku/Lelouch. I still can't see Lelouch thinking of Suzaku as anything other than his only real friend in the world, but Suzaku had done a number of...signs that could mean he considers Lelouch as something more than a friend. All those weird eye glitters when Lelouch shows he cares/remembers a little detail, the way his voice sort of shakes when asking Lulu to be strangers with him, the reason he piloted the Lancelot, how he put that gas mask on Lulu---and sure enough, final nail in the coffin from fan perspective---WHOSE kiss did he want when chasing that cat?

On the picture itself : I like it. It's very nice---Lulu's eye looks a bit weird--I think the glitter size is a tad to large---but they look very much themselves. And the line is very clean, the proportions done very nicely. Good work! *thumbs*

XD;; I was one of them. It's just that Lulu looks so much like X's Kamui and I like him uke, so I started liking SuzaLulu. Didn't know evil!Lulu has seme traits, though.

Maybe it's still early for fics?

And there's nothing wrong with that. ^^ If you ask me, Lulu has more uke percentage at heart, though mixed with all his messed up head he comes out somewhere in the middle. XD

As of Episode 5, yes, I think it's too early. XD I did write just a simple genfic and there's 'insufficient information!' all round. Episode 6, though, does give you enough info about how they all interact, if you feel inclined to write. Fics have been written on less, I'm sure. (FMA, anyone? Of course, Geass is much more tightly written than FMA, but still)

Ironically, I see Lelouch more likely to be interested in Suzaku than the other way round! Mostly because Suzaku is the only person, other than Nanaly, who he has show any deep emotional reaction too. He's had a few instances of shock or surprise but most of the time he's been indifferent to things. In comparison, virtually every scene shown with Suzaku, or about Suzaku, has show a great emotional reaction from Lelouch.

But we'll see how things go! XD

I actually agree on that front. XD Lelouch latches on to Suzaku so bad it's obvious. The reasons and effects, though, is probably something we disagree on.

And we'll have great fun seeing how they do. :D!

p.s. is it sad that I don't ship Suzaku/Lulu and nor do I actually like Suzaku that much (though he's got points lately), I still have more ideas for SuzaLulu fluff than my own ship? ._.

^^ :giggles: Yay! They look so cute together! I don't mind them either way but I think SuzaLulu is more convincing. Maybe because Suzaku seems more mature between the two. ^^

Hmm, I never think about which name I put first. As far as I'm concerned, a couple is a couple and the terms seme/uke are more of a joke than a serious sexual position. I don't think either would be particularly dominant in a relationship with each other.

But, yes, they look VERY cute together!! Thank heavens Suzaku in now in the same school so they can be cute together more often!
