The official website and the official blog have been updated with new information. You can now find an art gallery in the official site as the last item under 'special', containing all the old magazine arts from June-October issues. The story section has been addd with Episode 7 (details below). As for the blog, it's been updated with details on the picture drama (written by scenario writer/composer Okouichi) to be included with every DVD release. It's been confirmed that the drama will focus on Lelouch and Suzaku's first meeting, and will not be found elsewhere.

I hope this doesn't mean we have to get DVDs to get the complete story. I'll get them anyway, but the important parts being in the show or not is sort of worrying.

Cornelia has been cleaning out the terrorists hidden in Saitama Ghetto in the way that she does. Her next/latest battle features very similar strategy to what's been used in Shinjuku Ghetto in order to lure Zero out. Though knowing it to be a trap, Lelouch takes the persona of Zero to Saitama Ghetto. He uses the power of Geass to steal a Sutherland and beat back the Britannian troops, but that is also part of Cornelia's trap. Under Zero's command the terrorist forces are destroyed one by one, and Lelouch soon has no choice but to surrender...

I think I love the gallery section, because (mostly) textless versions of magazine images! *_*

Oh, I'm okay. I buy magazine scans too but they're mostly for iconning/graphics-making purposes, so I'm always happy to see a clearer version. XD;;

Did you notice how they corrected some of the character designs? I mean, Lelouch had white and red hair in two images.

I mean I buy magazines. D:

I made redhead!Lelouch into an icon here (http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d145/iconsis/icons/code%20geass/Pretties/lelouch-revolution_aestalitz.png) (did he really have green eyes in that magazine? I need to check) and white hair!Lelouch is this one (http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/258306/). They seem to have corrected the hair colours except for blue-haired Shirley.

I like special stuff being part of the DVD releases. I will usually buy them when I love a show anyway (I have all of Noein and Garakan so far!), but the extra effort put into them makes having them even more worthwhile. :)

Sounds like Cordelia has more tactical skill than poor arty Clovis! XD (But I am sure he was a better painter! ^-^)

I think Lelouch getting pawned is good! He had it all his own way at once, but he's actually thrown himself into something pretty serious and just assumed he'll be able to run the whole thing; he got his first wake up when Suzaku went back and here comes the second smackdown! It's good for the story; he initially looked way too powerful, but they are pulling him back and it's a lot better. More real.

Garakan's DVDs are amazing! They have special items (first one came with a harmonica with the Imperial Crest - one of the characters plays it) and they have all had really thick artbooks full of Okama's character designs. Very shiny.

Garasu No Kantai! (http://www.garakan.com/)

Clovis...he always makes me think of Vetti, the Emperor of the Galaxy in Garakan. I know it's a tenuous thing, but the roses and he's blonde, on the bridge of the battlecraft and they have similar poses...

Image Image

However Vetti was actually extremely competant at everything he did and Clovis...wasn't. ;) Poor Clovis!

I'm guessing that as well as losing some ground to Brittania, at one point he's going to have to make some radical conversions or start losing friends too, at school...I think they *might* be won over though, with the exception of Nina. ;)

I think Shirley and Rival might be persuaded. I am not sure about Millay though. And Nina, right now, no way. When you see Lelouch at school, despite who he actually is, these people do seem to be genuinely his friends. And so is Suzaku. So...yeah, he's already isolated himself with the path he's chosen. And actually, it seems like he might have become CC's puppet, to an extent. So his agenda may not even necessarily remain his own. And Suzaku seems a very moral person; I am not sure he's going to be too keen if he finds out about the fratricide.

Well, it's the fact that she offered Lelouch a deal and he took it; it's kinda Faustian. He saw a chance at enormous power and without really thinking about the warning he was giving, he seized it. There is always a price when you do a deal like that. At first he was over excited by the power, but now he's coming down from that in a lot of ways.

And the way CC was sitting on the bed during the state funeral holding the Zero mask. Hmmmm....I just think Lelouch might not be wholly the Master of his own destiny.

Oh oh, thanks. Looks like Cornelia is hardcore XD. A competent princess with a strategy? Unbelievable!
And I like the fact Lelouch finds himself in difficult situation. Would be boring otherwise.

O_________O Repeat after me, Die, Cornellia, DIE!! I seriously thought Cornellia was going to die(or at least pwned) in ep 7. But this summary totally made me despair.DDD: I kinda had enough of Cornellia's "OMGWTF ARE U MORONS DOING WITH PREPARING FOOD!?!@)$*!& I DON'T NEED DAMN FOOD, F*CKING FIND ZERO!!!DAMMIT!!!" thing. I totally hated her the first time I saw her in the ending(mostly because of her hair), hated her even more after I've read Newtype, and after ep5 it got way out of control.

....but if next ep shows us angry/angsty/KILL U/scared to the point that he himself is scary Lulu I'll reconsider. Oh, and not to mention blood.<--no idea where that came fromXD;;
Date/Time: 2006-11-14 11:34 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] defade.livejournal.com
Sure, it will, but who knows how long that'll take...DD: And usually, when an intolerable character dies, he/she always dies in a...less painful manner, at least that's been the case with me for over five years.DD: But I can't wait on how Lulu will escape this time, preferably by his own power.

Ep 6 was the most misleading summary ever. Just by reading it, you wouldn't know it's a super duper OMGWTF crack episode. By reading the summary, you might think it's really serious and all..since they used 'culprit' for the cat.-_-;; Well, I do hope that the summary for ep 7 is also written with more seriousness than the actual episode.

Eh? Why do you hate her so much? O_O Because of her hair is not really a good reason...O_O
Date/Time: 2006-11-14 13:27 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] defade.livejournal.com
She's just one of those ruthless villains I can't stand - actually, compared to her, Clovis seems more like a lost little puppy. And from my past experiences, 9/10 I'd hate a character with super pink hair. And she happens to fit in the category. At first though, I was only 'Duh. Her hair looks weird.' but it was only after her appearance that I hated her personally.

Lol! What good is a show without a good villain who makes you delighted or makes you mad! One on the good things about Code Geass is that the personality of the hero has had a degree of ambivalence about it; it makes Lelouch more real than the million hero by numbers characters out there; but normally, it's the power of the villain that can make or break a story.

Clovis, bless him, was hopeless. He was a great artist, but an appalling politican and knew no more of tactics than a novice in a nunnery, as the famous line goes. He'd have been a maginificent figurehead, though, if he'd had a good chancellor behind him actually making the decisions; his public speaking was not too horrendous...but he didn't. He only had Lloyd, and he didn't listen to Lloyd enough! Toy, indeed. ;)

I have a feeling Cornelia is just a warm up for big brother Scheizel too. >:) She does seem to be her Father's daughter though! XD

You can't hate a character based on the colour of their hair though! XD Euphemia has pink hair too, but they're total opposites!
