24-25 discussion *SPOILERS*

What are your thoughts on eps 24-25?

I've watched eps 24-25, but only in raw && not in subs. When summary comes out in a blog, namely Omni's then I'll go && read it. Then when subs come out, then of course I'll watch it. x]

But here are some things that I really stuck into my mind..

----> When Suzaku got captured, the last living thing to save him was the least you'd expect...Arthur. x]

----> Villeta shooting Ougi....That was kind of sad, though kind of expected.>.<

----> Nina didn't shoot anyone...Though she almost did press that button in her mecha.

----> Zero/C.C. were getting thir asses kicked if a geassed Darlton didn't bring Cornelia down.

----> When Cornelia was bleeding in the floor, they were talking, && I think he geassed her to tell him about Marianne. She told him a couple of things, but then..Orange came in. x]]

----> Is Cornelia alive or dead? That's not for sure.

----> Zero/C.C. went into the island && when they reached there their was this lightning in the ground, hit gawain, && that's when Lelouch saw C.C. being in the war, shot in the forehead, then burnt. Present Lelouch && C.C. are in the white flash talking, naked. Then feathers came out. x]] Luved that scene lol.

----> Orange came again but instead of fighting him Lulu/C.C. shot the ocean for like a diversion && I think C.C. told Lelouch to go after Nunally, while she faces off against Orange. The kiss happened. && I'm so glad they were both smiling in the end. x]] Now I really wish I could speak japanese..

----> In the cave Zero almost opens the door, but then Suzaku comes && shoots his mask off. Karen's there too. They were both hella shocked..&& then the guns came out from both guys aiming eachother..Then a gun shot..

1 thing is really plaguing my mind right now...Nunally was the last person in the shot...&& she had the face && the gasp&& the body language of being..shot. Does that mean..she got in the middle && was shot by both Suzaku && Lelouch?

..It kinda makes sense..But I'm really hoping that, that was just to spruce up our curiosity && anticipation...I don't want her to die.T_T

Now that I think about it, Lulu/C.C. kiss sort of reminds of End of Eva where Misato gives Shini a "grown-up kiss" and promises him to do the rest when he comes back. Mmmm, motivation for Lulu? 8D

I am so glad Viletta ain't a housewife anymore. That was plain what the fuckery. She did looks kind of strange though when she shot Ougi. I meant, her expression had the slightest hint of regret but that's just me.

According to 4chan, Cornelia hasn't "expired" on screen yet. So she's probably in between life and death.

Oh man, if Nunnally gets shot and knock on wood, dies, that is the end of their friendship. It all goes down the hill from there. Wasn't Nunnally in love with Suzaku, too?

Cornelia made the most sexiest faces yet. Oh god I can't wait for subs and hopefully they're not super HQ like these raws were. @_@; It's hard to screencap when you see those damn pixels.

I didn't even think about the possibility of Kallen shooting Suzaku. Interesting. But isn't his "live" geass supposed to save him, according to the spoilers? And the fact that the creators said Suzaku will be a co-protagonist for Season 2?

I recall the spoilers saying Lulu was going to try to trigger the live geass, but I don't think they actually mention him being successful. Kallen is behind Suzaku so she could easily shoot him. I don't think he'll die even if he does get shot. He's Suzaku afterall.

I was really worried about the Lulu/C.C kiss because I have a tendancy to like pairings until they start to become canon (with a few exceptions) because a lot of the time, I find that the canon isn't written well enough for me to accept it (this turned me off of Suzaku/Euphemia despite having liked it early on.) So since I do like Lulu/C.C, I was worried that the context in which the kiss took place would suck royally and turn me off the pairing. But from the sound of it, it sounds good. I still have to see it before making my final decision on whether it be approved or not, but it sounds decent enough to be passable. I think it'll depend more on how their relationship is handled in season two.

If Cornelia dies, I will cry. IT'S TOO EARLY I SAY. They just killed Euphie, can't kill Cornelia now as well. NUUUU I CRY.

I kinda hope Suzaku got shot. Just because. XD

I'm going to say right now that Orange pissed me the hell off. K. Anyway, I really loved the CC/Lelouch stuff because their relationship intrigues me, and the way that kiss was handled worked marvelously. Lelouch's lines to CC about her not being alone make me cry. I'm also bemused at the idea of trapping Suzaku by Ashford. Zero shouldn't leave his Knights to do his work since they're all a bit trigger-happy. I do want to know what the hell was going on in that conversation between the guy next to Ougi and Zero. I get the feeling it was along the lines of "BUSY! Don't have time to deal with Ougi's problems" and that irks me. The Suzaku vs. Lelouch scene was also extremely well-handled, and I actually like that it included Kallen. Even if my fondest wish was for her to find out Zero is Lelouch and then kick Lelouch in the nuts. Sigh.

In conclusion, Arthur is super kitty. And Orange got in the way of the Britannian reunion. Grr.

I'm pretty much hyperventilating over wanting to watch these episodes RIGHT NOW XD All of the C.C. goodness makes me happy since she's my favorite character, but does anyone else wish there was a little more ... conclusiveness? I mean, sure there's supposed to be a season 2, but why do we have to be stuck on a cliff hanger for more months? T.T Ah well. Season 2 should certainly start out exciting at this rate ^^;;

I have....roughly 1000 words of thoughts. (http://equivalent-t.livejournal.com/60449.html) To sum it up, though :

- The directing annoys me. I was expecting climax, not sustained tension. Yes, it makes sense that we just had our climax 2 episodes ago and this is actually the second season lead-in, but on DVD it'll be the ending, and it doesn't work that way.
- The way they reiterated every point we've came to expect annoys me. Yes, Lelouch, you anticipated that. So did we. HOWEVER, this is an interesting way to write strategic battles.
- Lelouch's plan is quite lovely. Too bad we had unknown factors amok. Again.
- My favourite part is totally the collapse(?) of the Black Knights. This is why generals don't leave for personal issues, kiddies.
- C.C-Lulu kiss works marvelously as platonic, but totally fails IMO romantically. And I like that pairing.
- A bit disappointed by the final scene. But haha Suzaku had figured it out sometime ago. So who's the better liar now? HE PWNED YOU, LULU.

I didn't think 24/25 could be better than 23 but it was just amazing.

For you poor people that didnt understand a word uttered here is a quick summary.


-New OP. It's pretty meh, but the music is good imo.

- lulu's destruction of tokyo was premeditated. He didn't expect anyone to surrender and he used his geass to command a britainians to collapse the place when he used the word "command" in ep 23.

-Orange is back and he steals a new robot that flies around. It looks really stupid but it can fly around and it's pretty powerful. Think of a flying tank that shoots a bunch of anchors.

-cornelia is beating down zero/CC until she is beat down by the geassed dalton. Dalton is then killed off by zero. Nice.

-scientist guy pisses off suzaku. Suzaku punches his face and flies off with the lancelot.

-ashford is taken over by the black knights as a base of Operation.
-nina has a robot equiped with a nuke. Everyone backs off

-suzaku fights kalen until zero shows up. zero traps suzaku and his machine is immobilized. This is until a new knightmare frame rescues him sent by .

-lulu's sister is kidnapped. omfg now he deserts everyone in tokyo to find her in that same island from before and suzaku and kalen follow. Nunnaly is captured by none other than V2.

-lulu/c2 arrive at the island but before entering the cave, zero/cc are engulfed in memories from C2's past. C2 talks about lonelyness and how everyone dies before her. She compares herself to a witch but then lulu sort of confesses his love for her saying if she is a witch he's a sorcerer. C2 tells lulu to go after his sister while she fights orange's knightmare frame.

-final scene and probably the best is the final standoff between lulu and suzaku and kalen. suzaku shoots lulu's helmet and he is unmasked. Kalen cries. Suzaku and lulu bicker and suzaku says that lulu was a mistake that should never have existed. Lulu loses it and the final frame is both of them pulling the trigger on each other.

C: Because I was asked.

C: Maria Vi Britannia
L: *shockhorror* By mum? So mum knew we were going to be attacked that day, but that cannot be true, because if she knew she would have made us escaped. What happened that day? Who was it? Who killed my mum? *Outbirrrrkkkk*
