For Knight Girls Edition

I remember someone sharing small black and white images of the releases of the Asuka DX Knight for Girls and the Asuka DX Queen I think for Boys a while ago. I went to Kinokuniya and saw both for sale and bought the one for Girls. Since I don't remember seeing anyone share the actual books...





I am just in awe. For anyone considering getting it, it contains doujinshi stories by a bunch of big name/professional circles. They're slashy and definitely have yaoi hints but there is no actual smut. Feel free to comment if you have more questions. ^_^

Imsorrywhat? It's out already?? Holy mother Sutherland. But trust my local Kinokuniya to ship it in a month later than the rest of the world *grumble*.

And I just found out yesterday that the excellent Vivi Mitsuno (http://vivi.boy.jp/com) is a Knight contributor! <3 <3 <3 No wonder she hasn't been updating in, er, three months maybe? Definitely good news!

Yours is good. I've never seen Code Geass merchandise at my Kinokuniya, apart from the magazines. -_-;

And when FMA was airing, it took them like about a year and a half to start importing the manga in any timely fashion. By then I'd flown over to Japan and bought my own set.

Now that you mention it, I've yet to see the manga spin-offs at my local Kinokuniya. So I might not get the Knight book after all, huh -_-.

I use the NYC branch and they're pretty good though they didn't have Suzaku of the Counterattack like I was hoping. ~.~ I'm going to have to pick mine up in Oct when I go back to Japan. Like you, I try to make the trip out there a few times a year.

Yes, she is! I even found her story. lol It's one of the ones I was hoping to scan tomorrow (that and the kashi and LuluEuphie ones) Vivis is not necessarily slashy and is more sibling rivalry. Lulu turns up to visit his black knights and Schniezel is already there in a mask. Lulu drags the impostor out and finds out it is his brother and promptly throws a hissy fit, particularly since Schniezel is more popular than he is. Right as Lulu is about to throw in the mask so to speak, Schniezel leaves but not before giving Lulu a parting gift, a box containing Orenji! Schniezel laughs evilly.

Generally though circles take a break between SCC and Comiket though since Comiket is the next big event. The next big ones post Comiket will be Spark and the Geass only event the next day. :) (She did have a new book at SCC)

O_O That is so odd coming from Vivi, but funny! LOL Anything for her art, really. I wonder if she's a professional mangaka or something along that line? Yay for Kashi! Even though I'm not wooed by a cute and submissive Suzaku I find myself very fond of Kashi's work ^^.

Ah, I see. This new book at SCC, why didn't I see it on the website? Is it the Lloyd/Cecile you mentioned before?

Ummm not really, most of the stories in the book are pretty gag. I don't know if she is professional but she does get a wall table which generally means either professional or well regarded. I only buy ViVi's books if it's uke Suzaku since the art is pretty but not so pretty I'm going to buy something I don't like. XP As I don't ship Lloyd/Cecile, no idea when that was released. At SCC Vivi released Highness, that one I believe you own. Highness:0 was released at the Geass only event in April. Other than series only events, the big yearly events are: December Comiket, Haru Comic, SCC, Summer Comiket, and Spark. Spark is pretty new but seems pretty big. According to my limited Japanese I think Vivi is releasing the next part of Highness at Summer Comiket. ^^ If it's as amusing as the first part I will grab it in Oct.

And see as I've said before I love uke Suzaku so I love Kashi's work both for their art and characterizations. I'm quite glad as I use to collect their AsuKira/ReyShinn.
