I vote second. It's not that complicated yet. I mean, the points of all previous episodes can just be summed like this...

- Lulu meets CC, Suzaku. Lulu gets Geass.
- Lulu pwns Clovis. Suzaku pwns Lulu.
- Lulu pwns Kallen. Clovis is killed. Suzaku blamed for it.
- Zero invented. Suzaku freed. Orange dubbed as name, caught for treason.
- CC stays in Lulu's house. Suzaku dates Yuffie. He saves Orange. Motivations explained.
- Cat pwns Lulu.
- Cornelia pwns Lulu.
- Haven't watched.

As far as I'm concerned, Lulu still hasn't got much past square one in his rebellion. D: The past 7 episodes seemed to me very much like just setting up for further messitude, and now a RECAP.

They might not treat it as the actual episode - it's called 'Stage 8.5', after all - I'm trying to say that we might get double, or something akin to it. Sunrise has a lot of series this season, but I don't think they'd screw like this with their most hiped one.

Hmm. My theory is that from now on the series would be vastly different in tone (Lulu FINALLY starts his rebellion, after all) and they want to recap things to mark the transition. Of course, we might still get bonuses...half an episode, or a full. I'm hoping.

Well, they did one heck of a lot of recaps with Destiny. D: And it's not like Taniguchi. But I'll try optimism, too!
