There's a sound episode which deals with the cat’s name actually. According to Euphie its name is Arthur (she says it isn’t her own idea but that the cat said so himself) and then sometime later when the students council is deciding on what would be the name for their new mascot, Suzaku wonders to himself if he should or not tell them the cat already has a name and he doubts indeed cause he thinks it would be disrespectful from himself to suggest Arthur as the name for a simple cat (which shows that, probably, the whole Arthurian legend is well known on Britain and it’s colonies). Then Nunna walks in (okay, not walk exactly, but you get the point) and after talking with the cat for a while (nya nya nya, etc, just as Euphie did) she declares that the cat is called Arthur and everyone finds it suits him (showing that, or the name Arthur wasn’t that respected after all, or that they don’t give a damn about respect and what not… I myself feel more inclined to the second, considering what we saw from Rivalz and Lulu on the first episode.)
Still, the fact that there’s already an Arthur in the series means that it’s unlikely we will get an Arthur Knightmare in the future. Which btw I suppose is fine, if knightmares are indeed the modern knights of Britain, giving them the names of old respected knights is a nice homage, but giving one the name of a king and maybe even the most respected king of them all… it would be a little much.
