It's already December 5th over here in the eastern half of the world, therefore I'd like to jump the clock and present my gift to the comm(s), in honor of Lelouch's birthday. I bring fanart. Unimaginative birthday-themed fanart, but hey, it's the thought that counts!

Nanaly is not disabled because, dammit, we want Lelouch to be happy.
Nina is not here because it's difficult to stick her in the same room with Suzaku. And we know who Lelouch would take with him to a deserted island.
Kallen is not here because, uh, I haven't managed to think of her as his circle of friends yet.
Lastly, the teddy bear in the back is from Schneizel. This is a Big Happy Family AU, shush.

Thank you! ^_^ I'm satisfied with how they came out except the Lamperouge siblings. Nanaly's a given, since her eyes are open, and Lelouch just looks WEIRD laughing innocently.

And then if Shirley sees it....[explosion can be heard]...and it all goes onto Nanaly, who, in her shock, knocks over Lelouch's cake, which spills onto Lelouch and causes him to bonk Suzaku in the eye, which causes Suzaku to fall down and pulls Lelouch onto him and yeah...everyone is in shock

But obviously, I don't like that pairing, hahaha. Well, I see them more as friends. ^____^ But where's C.C.? ^^ Hahahaha, but Lelouch laughing not evilly, but innocently is cause for some shock. XD [userpic = excellent evil smile]

Wow, you're actually...the first person other than myself that I'd heard saying that out loud. I actually see them as friends, too. Very close/cherished friends, but friends nonetheless. C.C...could not fit in the composition space, probably retreated/banished elsewhere so she/Lulu can enjoy some peace and quiet. :D

Am I really? I don't really like pairings of the same sex in animes/mangas because it's like the manga didn't state that. Now had it stated that, it would be a different story nevertheless. Hahaha, I know, I'm different, but hey, we need not follow the bandwagon! ^____^ Hahaha, C.C. is probably eating pizza in Lelouch's room, waiting for her Cheese-kun to come. ;)

Yeah. XD There's probably others "Suzaku-Lelouch Friendship FTW" people around that didn't change their mind for "SuzaLulu FTW", but I've never seen anyone talking about it. XD I don't mind understated yaoi/yuri, though, if it's like painfully obvious UST (hi, Soushi/Kazuki!). Friendship's just an underexplored theme nowadays, and Shounen Jump's Friendship Format doesn't count.

Now I see the image of Lelouch dressing up as Cheese-kun, and I think it'll stay with me to my dying days. XD

I'm not one to mention my stance, unless, of course, I feel like there needs to be an explanation lest I become misunderstood and thought of differently. XD

I have no clue what Cheese-kun. But I do hear this menacing low whisper in the form of Lelouch who says that I must finish my math homework lest he kill me...ooh, scary. XD

*Putting my hand up* No Lelouch and Suzaku for me, really, though it doesn't offend mine eye. ;) Though I think that where they stand right now, there won't be even necessarily be friendship when the truth comes out.

Pizza Hut Mascot Plushie thing something. Lelouch would probably rather die than be seen wearing such a costume, despite his questionable fashion sense.

UST = Unresolved Sexual Tension. Wikipedia definition : "a common mechanism in fiction, which enables the relationship between characters to build up a powerful erotic charge without actually becoming sexual."

Shounen Jump's Friendship Format...er, have you ever watched/read a show/manga where the hero waxes poetic about how he's gotten this far and will DEFINITELY win because he has friends who believe in him, thus he cannot lose? This speech invariably occurs near/in a big fight. If you have, consider yourself in the know.

Aha, but that would be interesting XD! Although I must admit the fluffy friendship is highly entertaining right now, I would quite like seeing Suzaku and Lelouch NOT doing an Athrun-Kira. Real relationships are complex enough and friends aren't always for forever, and you can argue over really petty things, so why not the big things? The whole 'you are the only person who can possibly know me for reals but I don't fully trust you though I think I do' angle makes it even more awesome.

Suzaku is really, really easy to draw, though. Suzaku and Millay. For some reason, that pose of his was basically a clean one-take, Lelouch's on the other hand was like..."sketch sketch erase sketch SCOWL erase sketch erase ad nauseum". XD
