It's already December 5th over here in the eastern half of the world, therefore I'd like to jump the clock and present my gift to the comm(s), in honor of Lelouch's birthday. I bring fanart. Unimaginative birthday-themed fanart, but hey, it's the thought that counts!

Nina is not here because it's difficult to stick her in the same room with Suzaku. And we know who Lelouch would take with him to a deserted island.
Kallen is not here because, uh, I haven't managed to think of her as his circle of friends yet.

Suzaku is really, really easy to draw, though. Suzaku and Millay. For some reason, that pose of his was basically a clean one-take, Lelouch's on the other hand was like..."sketch sketch erase sketch SCOWL erase sketch erase ad nauseum". XD

I was basing it off on the material that came with Animage December, so if he looks like Syaoran, it's not my fault. XD (Seriously, though, Suzaku as a whole DOES look like Syaoran)

The line art is so clean and tidy and pretty and the shading is lovely!

I am, actually, one of the people interested in Lulu/Suzaku, but I completely support the friendship too (which has such a fantastic dynamic even WITHOUT a shippy interest). I am also very aware of the fact that it isn't canon yet, so I won't try claiming otherwise! XD

It's okay. XDD; My favourite rant/discussion partner is a SuzaLulu fan, too. :D I don't cheer them on, but I don't mind the romantic fluff and I actually like reading the fluffy, less kissywissy ones. Canon or not, it IS cute. Especially with all the culture confusion that could arise in their younger days. :DDD

Well, this is obviously a screwy AU in which everything is perfect with Lulu's life (I did the Britannia crest on his suit, but it was pretty crappy) so it is possible if you stretch the reason thin enough :D!
