Johnny Yong Bosch is doing Lelouch. Well he is a good voice actor but I am not sure his voice fits Lelouch. At least not what I've seen from him.

Bosch did a decent job with Kiba. I think if he combines Kiba and Vash, he can pull off Lelouch. Though honestly I'm only supporting this now because it means Lulu can be THE BLACK RANGER. It's like a dream come true for him.

Seeing his voice range is really not that wide. He is a very bad choice for Lelouch, very bad. D: Yuri Lowenthal would have been better...

I still say Crispin Freeman would have been the best choice for Lelouch. *shakes fist* But I agree, Yuri would be the best between Johnny and him.

But do I see merchandise in the horizon! *_* The report says "Figures and product goods will also be sold in the US. Among the merchandise planned is a Lelouch jacket, pendants, bracelets, and notebooks."

But I don't think I could tolerate anyone other than FukuJun as Lelouch. (of course I only continued to watch Code because of FukuJun, and still to this day have no idea what the plot was. XD)

Also, any dub with Yuri Lowenthal as part of the voice cast is automatically worth watching in my book.

But Bosch as Lelouch... I can't quite wrap my head around that. I'll wait until I see it to judge, though. I love Bosch anyway. I'm just glad he's in this at all~ I kind of agree that I thought he'd be more like to voice Suzaku, though XD

I agree about how Bosch should voice Suzaku, but if Goro Taniguchi had a say in selecting the English dub cast, I'll just wait and see for myself. XD (But I'm just so hyper about Bosch and Lowenthal in the cast...XD)

i have nothing against johnny but his voice just can't compare to MY junjun's.... it just doesnt WORK -_- i didnt think he fit ed in fma either... he has a nice voice and all but... >.>

whatever, i dont watch TV not to mention dubbed anime. lol. let the adult swim audience endure it =w= *goes back to her lovely fansubs*

good luck with johnny's work too, since lulu isnt exactly an easy chara to play either -w-;

I think Johnny's better at voicing characters with more of a "<3 good" personality, I don't see that fitting with Lulu's character. *flips through rest of the comments* Crispin Freeman does sound like a better choice...

uno) Kind of wary about Johnny, but... on the upside, we know he can at least keep up with Lelouch's screams D:?

duo) and on the up-upside Lloyd = DIST THE ROSE. Lloyd's a pretty hard voice to pull off, but, in-character, I don't think there's really a better choice than the person who pulled off Dist. It certainly won't be the same as Lloyd's voice, but at least he can pull off the different off tones Lloyd usually pulls during the show.

Well, looks like this is official, so there's no use complaining about it 9.9 I'm not so much on Bosch's casting, but he's pretty talented, so many he can handle Lulu. I don't think Yuri Lowenthal would be better as Lelouch, though. I ♥ ♥ &thearts; Yuri Lowenthal, but I've only heard him as younger/dorkier type characters (Yuu from Noien; Luke from Tales of the Abyss), and I think he'll do a good Suzaku. I'll definitely be checking out this dub when it comes out (because I've learned in the past that even if I prefer the sub, watching the dub can be fun!).

speaking of ToA, Lowenthal also did Asch, didn't he? I think that timbre would suit Lelouch. but it's moot since he's not the one playing him so...*shrug*

i thought Bosch sounded great as Guy in ToA, tho Guy and Lelouch are worlds apart as characters,tho not as far as, say, black and white. they're just...different, is all. guess we'll just have to wait and see, aye?

and i agree that O'Brien would make an excellent Lloyd if he does what he did for Dist. ^_^

Johnny's voice isn't very low, but he DOES do a very, very good job as Nero from Devil May Cry 4 (if anyone else knows that game series.) He can pull off a high hysterical laugh if he wanted to, and I hope he'll be able to do a low purr if he tried. ^^; Hopefully. Although that is very, very interesting. XD
