Season 2 Preview Flash

Geass site just updated with a flash on season two. Just click on the top banner, the bigger one, on the official site and it'll connect you to the flash. It doesn't really show much about it, just pictures, same as the one shown in Newtype. Except Rollo's facing full forward this time.

I'm pretty sure that for Suzaku they put 'Knight of Rounds'It could be 'Lawns' but then that would be really weird. XD; I'm guessing they're going for the Athurian legend style and he's supposed to be one of the Knights of the Round Table or something.

P.S. Update in the gallerys. OMG THE 2007 AUTUMN ONE IS TOO CUTE!!!! Although I wish they would show the full picture of the one with Lelouch and Suzaku sleeping...

D: Like you guys I'm being bothered with the lack of mention of Lulu. But, I think there was this certain article there was a list of dead or alive characters for Season II, and Lulu was one of those few. (I'm sorry for this so sue me)

Suzaku is too over dramatic, but yeah... I guess that's a given after Euphemia got shot and finding out Zero is Lulu. Whatever.

Rollo I think is going to be a trump card.

In an unnamed animator's blog (which is magically gone now), he/she listed Lelouch twirling a chess piece as one of the scenes for episode 26 they were animating at the moment. So basically, we can assume Lelouch is obviously alive. I honestly have no idea why this is being debated.

People name things whatever it is that pleases them at the time. But I still think they should think about it a bit first. Like the name Setsuna. <-- I think of this as a girls name, because I've only known it to be used for girls, but now I've got a show with a boy who's named Setsuna, and find it very odd.
Rollo may be a real name, but doesn't mean it needs to be used, ne?

You mean the episode isn't done yet. I figured that they'd have some of the episodes finished by now. They've had practically half a year so far or was all that simply planning?

I guess so. But, it sounds like they're animating it really well based on the frame count for some of the scenes the animator mentioned. Here's what the animator said (thanks to Celiss' translation :D)

- According to her, Geass season 2 requires more frames than most other shows. This is where it gets interesting, because she actually describes some of the scenes:

Lulu positioning a chess piece, 20 frames, 3 days to complete
XX (new character) takes off helmet, 20 frames, 2 days to complete
XXX (new character), hair waving in the wind, 14 frames, 1 and a half days to complete

- Her opinion on the season 2 art style: It's closer to KimuTaka and ChibaYuri's style now than it is to CLAMP's. According to her this makes it all the more difficult to animate, and she suspects that Code Geass season 2 is now #1 on the industry's "Black List" (I'm assuming it's a list of shows animators would rather not work on because of the workload)

Anyway, as everyone else I'm deeply concerned in the Lulu lacking going around... It's not that I hate Suzaku, or the new Zero, or... THAT... THING. but seriously, if it wasn't for Lelouch I wouldn't have watched this series at all. It's all about his point of view, it's all about his story. Wtf Suzaku.

Maybe they're just hiding Lelouch. The bastards. Hmmmm. Lelouch in a knight-ish suit. :|~~

About the Knights thingie, I remember doing some wiki-search on the subject some time ago and found some coincidences at a point, you may want to read this little thing over here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gawain#Gawain_in_French_literature)~ I think it's quite inevitable that in the end things just cant't be happy... I think Lulu will sacrifice himself (get shot D:) for Nunnally... or something, and Suzaku will stay with her. If you think about it, Suzaku just WON'T die (geass, anyone?). Unless C.C. shows up again and some kind of Sunrise-ish-surprise-buttsecks-event takes place, we'll have the Lulu-dead end for sure. ARGH.

Even if this seems stupid, if they cut Lulu out of the show, I'm not gonna watch anymore D: And to top it off, it seems like Suzaku will get more focus, and he's my LEAST-liked character, even lower than Nina *shivers*

I have to agree with some other people on this, if Lulu is dead, I probably won't watch the show as much. HOWEVER, I have come up with two theories as to how he might live:

A) He's got to hide for a while so he gets someone else to be Zero for a bit while he lays low on his honeymoon with C.C.

B) He fakes his death. We don't learn the identity of the new Zero right away, so we're all "WHO COULD THE NEW ZERO BE!?" but then surprise, it turns out to be the old Zero after all. ♥

C) A combination of the two.

Uhm... is it just me or that Rollo is kinda resemblance to Shinn Asuka (GSD)? Err, I mean his appearance ^^' A total stranger that replaces a main chara from previous series (or something like that)

That Gawain info just makes me more depressed on how this is going to turn out.

Lelouch is not dead yet so I don't think there is much point in discussing it. He is going to die though at the end.

I think Lelouch has probably been a dead man for sure the moment his geass went haywire. There is no possible way he is going to get any sort of a good ending out of this.

I think the same. he's on the path of revenge. after all the events that went wrong, it's kinda hard to believe he's gonna live at the end. the real deal is how Sunrise is gonna finish him off. though, i'd love to see him alive after all of this is done u__u

A new Zero? So it's not Lelouch. Now I'm more excited to see the 2nd season. I wanna find out what happened to Lelouch. Of course, he can't be dead, right? He's the protagonist after all. And this new mystery character... He's going to be a student in Ashford Academy. Oh wow... I can't wait.
