This is true, but you wouldn't pronounce the small "tsu" that denotes a double consonant. If the creators had intended it that way, it would have been spelled シーッ instead of シーツー, as it is in official CG media.
Most likely, it's one of those things that is pretty much untranslatable (which is why anime is better left undubbed, IMO).
