As usual I'm slow at catching up with fandom talk, so forgive me if I'm asking a silly question.

Does anybody know what "R2" stands for?

Also, does anybody remember a quote (I think it is C.C.'s) in which she asks about the "meaning of a meaningless life" or something like that? I've been trying to remember this one for weeks now. I wonder if I dreamed about it...

And I used to think that quote was from the anime. Now I don't even know if it really exists. o_O

The only quote featuring C.C. about a meaningless life that comes to my mind is from ep. 7:

Lelouch: I was dead until the moment I met you. A powerless corpse which was lying to itself and pretending to live. A life that lives without doing anything... it's the same as slow death. If I must live as I did before, then...
C.C.: Wait. True, there is no meaning to a life like that.
