What can they make him do without it?

Well, he didn't solely relay on the Geass, there were those few episodes where he commanded the Black Knights through shear tactics and battle strategies from sitting inside the Knightmare.

It's also possibly he may bind another contract (I dono if they specified you can only mind one contract). And if he can't bind another contract with CC, maybe he could bind one with another Geass user? There's also that mysterious Rollo character, is it possible he has a Geass? Lulu and him are close buddies, maybe they could share they could cooperate together? CC still seems to be smitten with Lulu, she could still help him in someways. There's a lot of possibilities.

A harem thing would be nifty though 8D
