Detailed summary of the first episode of R2, first half.

And I do mean detailed. ;)

The show begins with a hand written (by the director Taniguchi) "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" title, like the one in Ep1.
The words are in light blue, and written vertically, as opposed to red and horizontally in season 1.

C.C. is in communication (not specified with whom) on the Zeppelin.

In Ashford, Villetta is chasing Lelouch around, trying to get him for his remedy gym class.
Classmates were cheering for Lelouch. He runs to the chemistry lab and quickly makes a smoke bomb of of the chemicals, and successfully escapes. 
At the staircase, Millay tosses him a croissant. Shirley watches him leave at the window.

Villetta sees Lelouch, jumps off from the window, and tackles him.
Only to find the one she's sitting on is a grinning Rivalz with a black wig.

Lelouch and Rollo are already on their way to the casino.
(That's the croissant sharing scene in this trailer).
The new governor of Area 11, Carares, shows public execuation of Elevens on TV broadcast. 
Lelouch sees the "wanted" thing with Zero marked as dead, and comments, "Zero, foolish man..." (the line from Ep25 ending.)
The brothers are being watched by both C.C. and the Britannia military. 
Governor Carares tells the captain that Gao Hai and Lee Shinku is arriving Area 11 today. The captain mumbles, "but today the Emperor orders to...", while looking at Lamperouge brothers entering the tower.

Opening song by Orange Range. AFAIK everyone likes it. The images are from S1 because they didn't finish the new one in time. (Well, seeing one of the animators wrote "this time I get to work on Code Geass R2's opening! Yay! I arrived the office early today, just to be the very first one to see the sketches!" on her diary on March 11th, I knew they're doomed. No way can they finish an OP in 3 days! :p At least she's extremely delighted at the beautiful artwork. So that's something to look forward to. )
And it's now "Turn 1" instead of "Stage 1".

In the underground parking lot of Tower of Babel, Lelouch tells Rollo it's okay to leave him here, asking Rollo to leave because it's illegal and might be dangerous. Rollo insists on tagging along.
On their way up, Lelouch is anxious, saying he wants strong opponent, but that's not exactly it.
Leaving the elevator, Lelouch and Rollo see the boxer brothers forced to fight each other, crying as they do so, in the colosseum.
Rollo feels uneasy. Lelouch criticizes about Britannia and the situation of Area 11. Rollo shows a rather complex expression, and urges Lelouch to leave again. 

In casino. Kallen bumps into Lelouch and spills drink on him. She apologizes and wipes his clothes. Actually she's trying to slip a transmitter into his pocket, but the Black King grabs her before she succeeds.
The Black King is doing "bunny hunting", taking bunnies home for... um... you know.
That's the 3 bunnygirls in chains we saw in Newtype scans. And Kallen is the 4th he picks.
The bunny hunting annoyed Lelouch and he challenges him for chess.

On the Zeppelin, in front of shredded Japan flag and OotBK flag, Urabe gives a small speech to the OotBK members.
"We are the only ones left of those once led by Zero. But it's not hopeless, as long as this operation succeeds. For Japan!"
After the toast, the OotBK heads for Tower of Babel.

The captured OotBK members are talking about Zero.
Tamaki and Ougi are siding with Zero, saying, "there must be something on his mind. Zero won't betray us."
Chiba comments, "running away from enemy in the decisive battle is nothing less then a traitor".
Toudo says, "that's enough. Either way, Zero is dead."
Later, Tamaki is beaten by the Britannian guards.

Lelouch checkmated the Black King with his white queen. The Black King is pissed and accused Lelouch of cheating. He orders the casino guards to seize him. Two bodyguards grab Lelouch by his arms. Black King sneers,
"Let me tell you one thing. In the world of grown-ups, doing the right thing doesn't worth a cent." (the line from Ep25 ending.)

OotBK raids just in time. People panicking. Kallen gives the bodyguards some good kicks.
She tries to take Lelouch with her, pulling him away from Rollo. Lelouch is confused.

Near the tower, Governor Carares, Guilford, and others welcome Gao Hai and Lee Shinku. 
Carares asks them to be disarmed. Gao Hai says, "But Zero is not here anymore." 
Carares says, "It's for showing respect to Britannia." 
The soldiers try to take Lee's knife. Lee quickly draws and sliced the pouches on their belt.
Gai Hai says, "isn't this impolite?"
Lee replies, "it's for showing respect to China." 

The captain of the military unit that's keeping Lelouch under surveillance receives message from Governor Carares. But he says, "take care of your local issues yourself. I'm under direct order from Britannia."

After the swinging locket scene, followed by a brief cut of Lee (just like in the trailer, such as this one), Kallen falls sitting on the floor, surprised.
Rollo grabs Lelouch and they escape with the crowd.

Kallen meets up with OotBK, reports she has failed to retrieve Lelouch, and gets on Guren Nishiki. She does not seem to be upset about Zero=Lelouch BTW.

The locket is a gift to Rollo from Lulu. If it has something on it, I wonder what it is. It is going to be a long wait for the anime to show up.

I need to re watch 24/25 again cause I don't remember they're being lines at the end. Very cool, I don't care if they're spoilers, so makes it worth watching still. I just don't know how I'm going to get the subbed versions...

Ah well, thanks for putting this up. Raises some very interesting questions.

Nunnally didn't appear in this episode. Not even in flashbacks.
Lelouch says Rollo is his only brother. No one in the student council has question about Rollo/Nunnally either.

It's friggin obvious there's conspiracy behind this.
If they'd leave such a tremendous plot hole, so big that every stupid fan can see, then this show isn't worth watching.

...I has this weird idea that maybe just maybe Rollo is a mindfuck and he's not even really there. I haven't seen all of Season one but would V.V Be able to conjure something up like this?

As I said I'm not entirely sure how stuff works but it's just something I've been thinking about ever since I heard of Rollo.

maybe VV kidnapped Nunnally and then Lelouch tried to save her but got his memory erased (or modified) instead, leving him to not know that he was zero and that Rollo is his brother.

this is kinda odd, it really seems like lulu doesn't remember who he is,( like zero and what went on a year befor) either that or he's really really good at playing dumb. I'm not suprised about kallen not being upst,she might stll be pissed about finding out who zero is. As for Rollo well he's just kinda suspicious to me...I don't trust random brothers that come out of nowhere. but then again lulu has so many damn relitves, its hard to tell.
