Hi! Sorry, I recently cosplayed Lelouch in his casual attire, but I am now starting to work on his Season 2 Zero outfit.

The tricky part is, of course, the helmet --and I was wondering if anyone had a higher resolution version of this picture:


(It was from the Newtype Article where they showed the new season character designs)

In exchange, whenever I figure out how the heck to make this thing I will post a tutorial :P.

aww, damn. I keep hoping there will be massive amounts of Geass cosplay at the cons I go to :\. There was only one other Lelouch I saw at Anime Boston >__>.

I know your pain. Last year at AFW, I cosplayed Dist the Rose from Tales of Abyss, and I only saw one other Abyss person and it was a character I hated at the time, but someone I love now. XD;

I'm sure a lot more fans (and cosplayers) will pop up after it airs in April :D (you can interpret that as good or bad...)

Yeah, I am hopeful that it will get the series some new fans (of the non-weaboo sort, maybe?). I guess I like meeting fellow fans through my costumes, though? And being able to take photos with other characters from the same series is fun, too. It's true, though, *too* many people from the same series is a little overwhelming XD. I don't cosplay Death Note anymore for that reason >_> ....

Actually, I was planning on using vinyl and foam... but then I remembered I had no money u___u.

So instead I am using cardboard XD. Flimsy as that sounds, I have actually seen some really awesome stuff made of cardboard.

You just make a basic structure out of cardboard, and then use bondo and sanding for areas with rounded edges. The visor part has me stumped, since I have no idea how to get something transparent in that shape, so I may have my not be able to see in the helmet unless I miraculously find a suitable bowl or something :\. But at least it will *look* pretty...

My concept for it was to essentially build it off a catchers/goalie mask. Looking at one today, it's just about the perfect size and shape. The only problem is the pricetag. So I'm looking for one used. You could always use images of one as reference. Hope this helps, as my Zero's on the back burner.
