High-res screencap of 1st episode

There are some high-res screencaps on this site (warning, if you don't want to get spoiled, then don't go there since the place also contains summary of the event in the first episode). They look fantastic and I would love to get that ED illustration as a book.

I wonder if the image of Cornelia and Euphie suggests that they are still alive?

I don't thing that they still be alive.
Maybe (omg... we should say for sure) flashbacks will appear in the new season.

I /very/ much doubt Euphie's alive, but Cornelia's pretty much confirmed. I believe reading er, somewhere in the animesuki forums (too many pages, would take forever to look up) that she's alive and laying low at the moment, with Guilford waiting for her return (aww!).

I'm pretty sure that Cornelia is still alive cause we don't see Cornelia die in first season. And I have NO DOUBT that Euphie died (Except V.V. or someone revived her). Anyway, thanks for info.

I think Cornelia is alive (we didn't actually see her die and no one mentioned her being dead), but Euphie is definitely a goner.

Well... You know... Euphie kinda has angel wings and Cornelia doesn't, so wouldn't that mean that "Yes, one of the sisters are dead"?

Didn't realize that Cornelia didn't have wings. Huh. Maybe everyone that has wings will be dead by the end?

1) Nunnally
2) Cornelia
3) Gino
4) the Emperor

It is wholly conceivable to me that everyone portrayed with wings would die, but wow. Could you imagine if the Emperor survived the series while everyone else died? Not cool, BAD END. D=
