I'm absolutely sure it's what CLAMP intended when they designed them. You can tell in how they pose them like Kamui and Fuuma all the time.

A lot of things in this series are right up their alley, too.

Oh, it's not even that they don't ever let it happen, it's more that the moment the boys realize their mutual feelings of affection, one of them dies in a horrible bloody way leaving the other one to forever live in misery. :D Happy end CLAMP-style!

I'm not talking about just Subaru and Seishirou. I'm talking about Ran and Gingetsu, Kentarou and Takeshi, Kamui and Fuuma, Kazahaya and Rikuo...

I don't mean just Seishirou and Subaru either. Kamui and Fuuma just haven't had their ending yet. Neither have Kazahaya and Rikuo. My money is on "One of them dies and the other one lives alone in misery for rest of their life". Watanuki and Doumeki are totally included, too.
And while Ran and Gingetsu haven't really had an end, you know that Ran is going to die in couple of years due to the fast ageing, leaving Gingetsu alone. Happy times!

Kentarou and Takeshi don't really count, since they are from cracky CLAMP Campus universe. Those are the series CLAMP made to try to convince us they're not sadistic bastards who enjoy causing us pain.

I'm hoping that because CLAMP aren't the writers, these boys have a chance. But I fear the writers might be just as bad, anyway. Fail at life.

Director's fan of CLAMP. I guess we can't really hope for some BL between this two (only in fanfics, fanart, and my dirty mind). Even though I've spended like 8 month and I haven't found a way to put them back together. *Another unhappy sigh*
