...I do approve of Corneila's and was fine with Suzaku's. Oh, Nina, how shrilly you are.
...but man, I was wheezing with laughter at...well, you'd think they would've shown more characters with boobs instead of Lulu and Suzaku standing naked together, grabbing hands, and having friend moments.
don't want to be that typical "everything sounds better in japanese" but i'm sorry...i can't like this...lelouch sounds like...well, like a sterotypical cartoon bad guy and suzaku's actor stresses his words unnaturally and...okay i'm done.
I don't think I've ever heard her before, but I'm really impressed, considering I'd imagine Cornelia would be kind of hard to do ♥
I'm actually really hopeful for Euphie! Michelle Ruff is doing her voice, and she's done roles such as Etna in Disgaea, and Chii and Freya from Chobits, and from what I've heard she does a pretty good job. :o
She was in Ghost in The Shell as Motoko, if I'm not mistaken~ :D
Oh, I didn't know she did Etna! That was a really good role for her then. :x Still, she kind of ruined her image for when she did Chikane in Kannazuki no Miko. XD
I agree with everybody above that Suzaku's voice is not bad. But, ugh, poor Lelouch sounds so out of sorts. I don't know, the voice just doesn't seem to suit him. Of course, I'm biased by having listened to the original for so long, but still. I wonder if the dub VA made any attempt to differentiate his voice for Lelouch when he's Zero and when he's just Lelouch, since it seems like in the trailer all that we get to hear or Lelouch voice is when he's Zero. That's one nice touch that I like about the Japanese VA for Lelouch is that he always does his voice a little different when he's playing nice innocent Lelouch, and then when he's Zero he sounds way more edgy, for lack of a better word. It's a nice contrast.
I already know that Orange-kun will be perfection. I can't wait to hear a trailer with his voice. Oh, now I love Crispin Freeman
Cornelia is perfect. C.C. sounds a bit too...cutesy? Like she's trying to be high pitched and young, whereas she should sound...aged.
JYB...I don't know about that yet.
The announcer guy is kinda irking me though. >.>
And the spoilers are totally unneeded. You are royalty! Well, thanks, now one of the major driving forces of Lulu's actions have been prematurely revealed.
Sounds okay, thought for some reason Cornelia made me laugh. 8D Yeah they picked some strange parts of the first season to reveal. Johnny's doing a fine job as Lelouch, despite the fact that I know it's rather hard to put English words on those mouth flaps. X_x He did try and lower his voice though, so, not bad!
Oh, that would make a lot of sense. It's pretty easy to forgot that Lulu is, afterall, just seventeen/eighteen -- so naturally they'd wanna make him sound different when he's Zero. XD Thanks for pointing that out.
Lulu's- I don't like Jonny Yong Bosch.... He was alright for Ichigo.... But he was a terrible pick for Lulu.... (and no, this is not just cause I like Lulu's japanese VA better, cause I do, it just... doesn't sound right, not just for whats being said, just the voice in general).
C.C.'s- She sounds like a kid o_o I picture her voice being so much more mature, full of wisdom shes certainly not going to tell you unless you ask or its necessary.
Suzaku's- Alright. I'll have to hear more.
Cornaelia's- HOLY JEEZ, THATS PERFECT.
And Nina's seems ok aswell (even though she just screamed XD).
Cornelia. Wow. If I ever see the dubbed it's going to be for her <3 Suzaku had a good voice, but it sounded weird when he screamed. Lulu and C.C. voices - not approved XD
Okay, I'm starting to recognize Yuri too much now. xD When Suzaku started talking, all I could picture was Ryoji-kun from Persona 3. x_x
As for Lulu, as I've said before, I knew he could pull it off... However, he completely reminds me of a different person and I think I could end up really -hating- that.
C.C in the first trailer sounded MUCH better. I just hope the VA can pull off some of her more serious moments. Meh, that's really all I have to say at this point.
Aaaaaahahahahahaha... oh, dubs... you always sound weird. I'm sorry, but I will never understand the purpose of dubbing foreign film. Many countries don't do that, unless it's targeted towards children - which this so isn't. I think I'd be less bothered if dub anime voice actors were like normal American voice actors... but they don't talk the same way, or sound the same way, they have their own style, and it ALWAYS sounds freaking WEIRD to me.
I'll watch clips of Orange-kun, because Crispin Freeman is awesome. And hey, some of this isn't even BAD, just... obviously dubbed sounding. But not bad... except for Lulu. Oh god... no. XD;; Make it stop.
Echoing what seems to be the most common opinion here; Suzaku and Cornelia were quite good, Lulu and C.C. not so much.
Cornelia, for that one line we heard her, was perfect. I was really impressed.
Suzaku also surprised me in a positive way, at least for the scene where he was talking. The yelling at the end unfortunately didn't quite work out. Yelling generally seems to be hard for dubbers for some reason. o.O
C.C. sounded too high-pitched and lacked the mystery. Her voice didn't indicate in any way that she wasn't just Lulu's random room-mate or something; no magic or secrets in the voice.
And Lulu... Lulu was just plain. He's supposed to have this sexy charm, the slyness, the dramatic flare and the cold calculative side... none of that was present. He had a really generic sound in the dub, which does not fit his character at all.

Lelouch: Hey Suzaku, wanna go pick up girls?
Suzaku: .. I guess I'll go log off and check my email or something.
Euphie: *PUTS GUN TO HEAD*

..aaand I'm pretty sure C.C is Arietta :D

C.C. could use some work, though. They need to tell the actress to sound more wooden, less confused.

EDIT: Tried it again. I will admit Suzaku's voice is pretty damn good. I can't get used to Lelouch or CC, though.
