Hey guys, let's get some good discussion going here!
I especially want to hear everyone's thoughts on the way Lelouch manipulated Rolo (oh, and I guess that is the official spelling now). Is it not what the majority of us predicted?
BAW ROLO. T____T I damn near cried during those scenes where Lelouch was manipulating him because I knew that Lelouch wasn't being sincere, but I hoped anyway. So I felt just awful for the poor boy at the end when Lelouch revealed his true intentions.
I can't hate Lelouch either, but damnit. I agree with a lot of people, I hope that Lelouch and Rolo eventually get a real bond going there. I just want the boy to be happy, damnit. T_T
On another note, the origin of Rolo's Geass just got a bit more interesting. He didn't receive it recently, he's had it for... it seems like most of his life, so how come it didn't activate permanently like Mao's yet? And furthermore, I wonder who gave it to him. Was it still V.V., or...? XD Just was an interesting thing to think about.
so how come it didn't activate permanently like Mao's yet?
I was under the impression that those with the Geass and get consumed by its power lose control of it. Since Rolo does not really seem to really want anything aside from "finishing the mission" this hasn't applied to him so he has therefore never lost the control of his Geass? Least that is what I am guessing.
Well, there seems to be a connection between Rolo's Geass and that mysterious orange-tinged place the Emperor has. Maybe he was an 'engineered' Geass user? And maybe only Geass users who enter the contract like the one C.C. offers lose control of their Geass.
