Rumors from a pretty reliable source about the anime schedule; 26 episodes, a break, then 26 more?..Gundam Seed did something similar...

That's awesome! I really hope it turns out to be true....I was actually thinking that 24 eps seemed too short for Geass. Now hopefully the director knows what he's doing and paces everything well.

It's good that Code Geass will have more than 26 episodes. Lelouch ambitions are so big, and there is so much potential to explore several plot lines and subplots that having 26 episodes is like a waste.

Who knows, maybe of Code Geass becomes very popular it will become another Dragon Ball Z-length series XD

I heard a similiar rumor floating around JFen, which would make sense considering how the pacing is absolutely glacial for the subject matter. But still, I don't think CG would do as a 4-coures series....(or at least I hope it isn't one)

I wonder if it's going to be set two years later like Gundam SEED Destiny XD Geass seriously reminds me of Gundam SEED. Heh, I never even saw all of SEED or Destiny. Just bits and parts.

The writer for Geass is same as GS and GSD? Oh my. I heard rumors she wrote Suzumura Kenichi's character (Shinn) less likable because he apparently offended her and made Naomi Shindou's character "useless" because she approached the writer about it.

Personally, I'm glad if it's true--Geass has way too much plot to be wrapped up in 25 episodes, and since it's not a true sequel with a totally different plot, a second half doesn't have quite as much of a chance of totally screwing up.

Now, if they decide to make a true sequel, then I'll get nervous.

From what I heard, after this 20+ eppies in the first season, there'll be another season sometime next year . . .then they have a break, then they'll have 2 more seasons x_X

If this isn't a rumor, I'm very glad that Code Geass won't be limited to 20+ eppies. The plot covers a lot and there's a lot of plot and character development needed to make the series even more interesting. I simply want to see more Lulu

However, I've heard there'll be a change with the producer and character design . . .which I think isn't good :( because there might be sudden changes in the flow of the story and also to the characters (e.g. Suzaku becomes some merciless killer, Euphemia acting like Cornelia) . . . which would be terrible x_X It would be nice if there is continuity.

Though I still want to see more of Code Geass, I wouldn't want it to be TOO LONG and have TOO MANY seasons x_X such series usually become worse. So many irrelevant stuff added that would make a fan go crazy x_X

Many have seen similarities bet. Code Geass and Gundam Seed. Honestly, I haven't seen much GS eppies but I didn't appreciate them >_> I tried to like it again since I loved Code Geass, but I can't explain how much GS has . . . . been making my eyes bleed disappointed me atm. ^^; I hope Code Geass won't be following GS's foot steps. GS is GS. CG is CG. They're two different entities T_T
