Rumors from a pretty reliable source about the anime schedule; 26 episodes, a break, then 26 more?..Gundam Seed did something similar...

I wonder if it's going to be set two years later like Gundam SEED Destiny XD Geass seriously reminds me of Gundam SEED. Heh, I never even saw all of SEED or Destiny. Just bits and parts.

The writer for Geass is same as GS and GSD? Oh my. I heard rumors she wrote Suzumura Kenichi's character (Shinn) less likable because he apparently offended her and made Naomi Shindou's character "useless" because she approached the writer about it.

Oh, I'd heard the thing about Shinn, but I hadn't heard that the reason Cagalli was treated so crappily in Destiny was because Shindou Naomi approached her. Jeez.

But no, Morosawa is not the GS/D writer associated with Geass--it's a different one entirely (I forget which one). So I wouldn't worry about that sort of behind-the-scenes wankery.

(Fun fact: Tanaka Rie, Lacus's seiyuu, and Morosawa are both huuuuge, obsessive Athrun fangirls. Tanaka Rie was always pissed off that Lacus ended up with Kira instead of Athrun. So there's a rumor that Meer was created to give Tanaka Rie a chance to briefly be with Athrun.)

Thank god it's not the same writer. Geass doesn't need that kind of crap going on in the background.

That's really nasty if it's true about Morosawa...a writer should keep their personal crap OUT of the workplace. I mean why ruin a perfectly good character like Cagilli? It's very childish and stupid.

one of the two the series composition and screenplay person worked on GS/GSD. the other worked on turn-a-gundam. there seemed to be like a dozen scenario/script writers for GS/GSD so not sure if that person one you are talking about.

So the reason Shinn became less likeable is because Morosawa didn't like him? Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the writers, script people, or anyone in the staff should be biased against a character or many. o.o; Wouldn't that have a negative effect in the show or something?

The Cagalli thing is new to me as well. =o

Either way, thank God that Morosawa is not in the Geass staff!

It was this rumor I heard that Suzumura Kenichi offended the script writer somehow. I don't know what he said or did but it must have been a terrible misunderstanding or he really did say/do something rude.

In a way, I wouldn't be surprised because I've heard rumors SuzuKen once said things about one of his co-stars after having sake but he said he doesn't remember. *shrugs* SuzuKen is love. Maybe he should join the Geass cast 8D

At least the main writing guy's not related to GS/GSD, if that helps? I've always liked the director's works, too, even if it's a little worrisome since he's never done anything longer than 25 before. Though that way, I can stop worrying about the pacing...

I suppose its popularity raise helps, though.
