Do you roleplay? And if so, who and where? I've done Aerith Gainsborough in a couple of KH rp's Twilight University was the one I can remember. And I've done Ichigo from Bleach at bfmi. And I'm actually hoping to get into the onorata RP sometime soon.
Do you go to conventions? Yeah I've been to a bunch, mostly one's local for me such as Anime Boston, Connecticon, and Portcon. Though I have been to AWA and I plan on going to Otakon this year.
Do you copslay? If so, anyone from Code Geass? Hell yeah, I do. I've done mostly Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach and I'm almost done with Finaloutfit!Lucy from Elfen Lied. As for Geass, I would SO love to do Kallen or C.C., but C.C.'s costume is sooooooo complex ;_;. Who knows, I'm thinkin' of maybe doin' Kallen for Otakon this year :shrugs:
What other anime do you watch? Well as for currently, it wouuld have to be Soul Eater, Nabari no Ou, Vampire Knight, and Special A. Big all time favs for me are Bleach, Escaflowne, and Gurren Lagann.
What manga do you read? Fruits Basket, Ouran Host Club, Bleach, Naruto, Vampire Knight, Koukou Debut, Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden, and occasionally Tsubasa.
Favorite TV shows : Shows: firefly, heroes, and Alias Movies: pretty much ANY disney movie especially little mermaid
Anything else we should know about you? I TOTALLY <3 FRIENDS! I've been told by my friends that I make friends almost instantly with most people on LJ. And I'm always up for fangirling and roleplaying and all that jazz. And on a random note, seriously whoever created Spinzaku is a GENIUS!!! AND XING LE IS THE SMEX!!!

I to haven't read Hitchiker's Guid to the Galaxy :sigh: one of the MANY books I still have to read. I still have to finish reading the Sword of Truth Series, if you've ever heard of that. It's by Terry Goodkind, as is fantasy, and it's oh so incredibly good.

Oh yes! There are definately too many books I still have to/want to read, but I'm so slow...

Well, I've heard the name of the series, but not much more. The only fantasy books I've read are the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and three of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels (need more!)

oOoOo I've heard good things about those series as well. And I've had like 5 ppl tell me I need to read the Wheel of Time series. I SERIOUSLY need to get my hands on a copy.

Plus why do fantasy novels have to be so damn loooooong it drives me insane sometimes.....

If you don't like loooong things, Wheel of Time probably isn't for you. xD I loved the first six books. The ninth was super lame, but the eleventh kicked ass again, although it was way too short. And the author died before he could finish the last book, so I wanna know how well his wife and another author can wrap things up.

I haven't read them in so long that I can't say anymore whether they are a must-read, but back in the day I was an avid fan and knew the whole universe like the back of my hand. Oh, fun times xD

I think fantasy are so long, because the author wants you to get a feel for the world/creatures/whatever and because they've (better) spent so much time thinking it up, they want to give you every aspect of it... Although this is only speculation, I'm no fantasy author xD

haha well I can deal with long books in fact I've gotten used to them. To the point where 500 pages has been an average read for me. But thanks for letting me know about the series and my friend's have told me that they're trying to finish the story through the original authors notes or something like that? And even though I haven't read the series yet, I'm interested to see how it turns out.

I agree, I think the whole key to fantasy is the world that it's in. Sometimes they are so long because they want to value every single detail in the universe to a T. Plus a lot of times with fantasy there is epic battles, so that usually takes up a big hunk of text too.

Yeah, they range from 500-1000 pages per book.
That's what I heard too. (Are your friends part of a WoT forum, too? xD) I guess his wife (who was also his editor) must know what he wanted to achieve. I'm just looking forward to knowing how long exactly this book is going to be. RJ himself always said he would only write this one last book, even if you had to wheel it out of the store.

Indeed, they have these epicly long descriptions of surroundings, nature and everything and what does it matter if there are two or three birds chirping? Ooh, epic battles! At least we don't have to read about those in Geass, heh.

Nope~ Exact opposite, actually. But I'm not a fan of crack pairings.

I don't have too much of an opinion on him, yet. I'm waiting for him to... do something? to make me like or not like him.

I do have a... predisposition? against him, though. Because someone as smart as Lulu and as strong as Suzaku sounds like a bad OC, to me. But I'm waiting to judge.

Yeah I'm kinda the same actually. But Geass is just one of those wierd trends with me where I pretty much like any pairing. Hell I wasn't even a big fan of yaoi until I got into Geass. So I can definitely relate to that actually. Though for me, my OTP for the series would definitely be Lelouch/C.C.

Hmm I agree, it's kind of too early to judge on what he's going to do/act. You know he's not entirely what he seems and you know he isn't the best guy because he's perfectly comfortable with manipulating the Black Knights. I don't see him acting any time within at least the next few episodes, since it seems like it's more focused on Suzaku and Lelouch and all that's going down then. Maybe we'll get to see what roles he plays in the battles to come. I'm very intrigued to say the least.

As for your predisposition, I can understand that too to some extent, however like most things in Geass not everything is what it seems. I am glad that you are keeping an open mind about his character.

I for one am fascinated by that fact that he's not all that he seems. You don't know his intentions, but he's very capable of influencing the events to come and doesn't hesitate in getting what he wants. I too am a little worried abou the whole smarter than Lulu and as strong as Suzaku, because it makes him seem to great. He's got to have some kind of flaw or something, otherwise there's no depth to his character.

I look forward to seeing more of him in the future.

I have a long, probably ranting reason why Lulu/CC doesn't really work. But it boils down to CC pissing Lulu off and MutualRespect!=Love.

If he turns out to be just a bad ass guy in the background much the same way Euphie was just a cute girl screwin' stuff up from the side, I'll be happy with him. But if he suddenly starts being 1337 like Rolo, I won't like him too much.

Tokyo Revelations is so amazing and drooltastic.

YUS. FOLKEN. My friend always loved Dilandau and his pyro tendencies. Scrawny awkwardness is hot too though. Meep. So many~!

ALLENWALKERALLENWALKER. The manga is dark, yet cracky at times and there are so many hot guys(shallow? just a little). My suggestion is, the anime's ok, but if you don't like filler and slow-moving plot the manga has a considerably faster pace (admittedly some of the filler is fun or expands on minor characters more). The fandom is so cracktastic and fun. (I grovel and beg for mercy if that was more than 3.)
