Thomas Jefferson? It's too easy to say, well duh, he was involved in the American Revolution, is this a tricky question?
(no subject)
Nope. Thomas Jefferson has a specific belief about established government that I'm looking for. Just being involved is not it. (If that were the case, I could have named any of the fore fathers. And I personally like John Adams more.)

x_x I'm too lazy to dig through my brain for what I know is there. History final was last week and my brain is like, "NO MORE!". Speaking of John Adams, have you seen any of HBO's new miniseries about him?

I have not. I didn't even know there was one. Details, please?~

I haven't managed to watch much of it, but what I did see I rather liked. The website is here (http://www.hbo.com/films/johnadams/). I was hoping my history prof would have seen it so we could talk about how accurate it is/isn't.

Whyyy is the loading screen for "John Adams'" site a political cartoon drawn by Benjamin Franklin?~
I'm only on the third part, but I don't see anything that doesn't sound right to me, yet. But I might not know as much as I think, of course. This looks fun~~

I don't knoooow. It looks snazzy?
Hehehe. There was a part in there where his family infected themselves with smallpox from a dead body. I had to go and ask my mom if that's how they used to do vaccines. Apparently so. *shudder*

Geez~ That author is slow. ...But it's a good series, so I'll forgive them. ^_^
Or they were hoping nobody would notice? Oo... Probably just a convenient colonial symbol.
Ew. I wouldn't wanna touch that. But I do know his kids get pretty sick, at one point. I think the flu, though back then the flu was frickin' dangerous. ...It's so nice talking to someone about history and not hearing someone yawn~ ^_^

Indeed. It makes me feel old thinking about how long I've been reading it though.
^^' I'm not an uber history nerd, just some vague and sporadic interests. I'm studying archaeology this summer, I like my history to be oooooold and... more like... prehistory.
