Usually, I'm not a fan of English dubs, however I felt that this one wasn't too bad. I like the VA chosen for Kallen, and think she fits fairly well (considering that there isn't a huge selection of American voice actors out there). Lelouch's is kinda enh-ish. I probably wouldn't have chosen Johnny Young Brosh, had I been given the choice. But at least he makes Lelouch sound like the teenager that he is, as opposed to some other anime dubs where the teenaged character sounds like they're 40+. :\

I think Bosch is fine as Lelouch, but his Zero is really flat. There's none of that commanding intensity.

Agreed. Lelouch sounds like a teenager, which he should. Zero should be more dramatic, but without making him sound 20+ years older. Bosch doesn't have that dramatic flair that is needed for him. :\

You guys DO realize that the voice actor who did Nunally also did Minmei?

Did anyone actually expect it to be good after THAT? o.O

Anyway, I'm waiting up tomorrow night because it's kind of a tradition with my mom and I (we watch [as] together every Saturday night), so I'm not going to watch it now, but I'm disappointed that people are saying Johnny's Zero sounds flat. I was so looking forward to his Zero voice. D:

Well, Kallen was a LOT better, and JYB is starting to grow on me. But his Zero is just...ugh. NEEDS MORE FABULOUS.

Kallen's censor was hilarious. I'm still not sure about her voice, but it did sound better in this episode.

Bosch just can't do Zero :/ Thats all there is to it.

Shirley sounds weird, like the actress isn't opening her mouth enough when she talks so we're hearing her tongue hitting her teeth or something, it just sounds off.

I told you guys: you couldn't possibly expect Nunally's voice to be any good when taking into account the VA also did MIN-FREAKIN-MEI. Bleh. >_<

But I don't see what's not to like in Johnny's Zero voice... I rather like it. It's deeper, calmer, more assertive. It's no Jun Fukuyama, but then again Johnny's not Japanese, so... ^_^

Anyway, I rather liked this episode. Karen was less... icky and Nunally I was prepared to deal with because it's freakin' Minmei. Overall, it was okay, and that's good because that's the same thing I thought when I first watched the ep in Japanese. (Except I didn't do the "ohnoes he actually killed Clovis! *cries*" thing, since I kinda knew it was coming...)

Pronounciation again is an issue for me.

I'm only skimming the dub so maybe there'll be more of this but still this annoys me that they don't do a little research like that. It isn't a bloody made up word.

Anyhow, the dub isn't bad. But Nunnally is just ...
