Well, now that Japanese sites are working for me, newspost! There's very little on the official site that you wouldn't know already, the OP/ED promotion and the vote being obvious and mentioned sometime ago...but there's something new in the staff column.

Apparently, DVD#2 will also have audio commentary, specifically for Episode 4. People doing the commentary are seiyuus for Lelouch, Kallen and Jeremiah. It'll also come with a Picture Drama again (this is sounding like Mai-Hime's DVD extras but hopefully better), though this time the scenario isn't by Oukouchi but by Associate Series Composition Guy Yoshino Hiroyuki. The theme this time is...'Bathroom'. Sunrise also apologizes in advance for its female fanbase and as for the male fans, they promise ecchi. Quite fitting for a DVD which holds Episode 3.

DVD#2 is slated for February 2007.

Heeh, Yoshino HiroyukixKimura Takahiro? What a tag!8DDD I've been waiting for more for your ero works, Kimutaka!8D Lol, no need to worry, I'll enjoy em alsoXD
They're having this picture drama for all the DVDs...are they demanding to buy em? I guess they are......

Hmm...I have not been terribly impressed by the extras stuff for the CodeG DVDs so far (which is what you buy DVDs for right? :D) And telling me it's going to have ecchi stuff (featuring, I expect, Miss Fanservice Karen) is hardly likely to sell it to me, now is it Sunrise! Surely it would be better to keep officially produced stuff neutral so it's appeal isn't limited. *shrug*

Not in Japan, but I go there and buy a lot of stuff from there and I do read some Japanese (with the help of Mr Dictionary for the kanji! ^-^b). The benchmark DVDs for me have been Gonzo's GarasuNoKantai DVDs - they came with SO much extra stuff including an awful lot of production art and new paintings; Garakan was designed by Okama and his drawings are amazing. I would pay for more of Clamp's drawings, a la that insert character design book that came free with...I think was Newtype?

DVD no1. seems OK...well, it had a set of 10 postcards in it from Clamp, but they're of those paintings which accompany the end titles. It's nice to have them without text, but they're not *really* special as they are images we've seen. I am not sure it has drama snippets on it; I think it might have one for the DVD, but it has the collected net radio stuff on it.

Hahahaha....well while we know Yoshino Hiroyuki is a sadist(I mean to anime characters), Kimutaka was originally a character designer for R-rated computer games....not that I was playing them:P He is known for drawing with unique lines, which I guess is also appearing in Code Geass....

Unique lines meaning his own style. I personally think they're sharper and detailed, and he's quite well-known for it. Mm? Well he's doing the overall character design and is the main animater in the anime... It's just that his designing skills are outstanding, and his name can be one of the selling point there. Especially if it's ero.

DDDD: Do they just HAVE to add fanservice? Episode 3 is more than enough for me already. And not to mention the op and ed with CC's butt and booby shot.

But I am VERY interested in hearing the commentary, and really, featuring Orange's seiyuu?XD;; It'll be fun to hear them go "Ooohhh!! Soko da!" or "ORENJI JANAI!!!" when Zero says "Orange".
