the only thing you're going to miss if you buy LE (i don't believe it took me a whole minute to understand what LE is OTZ) are the clean openings O__O;;

i'm betting that they forgot to add 'clean opening' to the list. the LE dvds are probably the exact same DVDs as the separate volume DVDs.

On a side note, since I don't feel like making another comment, I thought I heard whispers of this being a blu-ray release as well. Was there any information regarding the format? I'd love for CG to be my first anime blu-ray title!

I don't think Geass season 1 was initially done in HD, so they'd have to re-master the series for a Blu-ray release.

R2 is being broadcast in HD and they're releasing it on Blu-ray in Japan, so perhaps they'll follow with that in America as well.

Can anyone confirm what the LE artbox is going to look like? I've been assuming/hoping that the third cover shown (with C.C.) is the cover of the Part 1 set (the non-LE one). Though, I'm already pretty much set on which one I'm buying ^^

Sigh, I was hoping Bandai would do some awesome limited edition stuff like they did with Haruhi Suzumiya, but they must be down the drain from promoting Haruhi because the other animes they licensed didn't get big promotions.

If the Collectors box is the CLAMP box, I'll totally get it. If not I'll just order the Clamp when when I can ;_;
