Getting caught up on downloads. [Chihiro] or [Eclipse] for subs?

Edit: Wow, you guys really ARE quick! :O

Edit x2: Okay, the response being overwhelmingly Eclipse between the two, LOL. That's my own fault for not keeping up with knowing who's the good subbers and who's... not.

As for [gg], I actually end up getting bad files from them sometimes. :( My ep 3 is done by them back when it came out and I couldn't play it. Yet their ep 1 and 2 worked fine. I've noticed I occasionally get corrupt downloads from them, across a couple series. So I'd rather just stick with another group. It's frustrating to have to download an ep twice before being able to watch it.

I personally enjoy Eclipse's subs, but it varies from person to person.

I say either Eclipse or gg.

Chihiro is just a speed sub, so their quality isn't as good.

Eclipse. Chihiro are fast, but their subs aren't that good because of it.

Eclipse or gg. Chihiro's are terrible.

Eclipse or GG. GG usually releases first, but the difference is a matter of hours.

Eclipse hands down. They have .avi which plays better for me + ability to put onto a DVD easier.

*nod* Chihiro is a bad subber, you'd be better off watching it raw.

I don't have any trouble with GG, except for when I get a .ass file the timing is off here or there, but that's not their fault. It's possible the file didn't finish completely (that's usually the bitorrent client's fault, my files use to not finish completely but would say 'done' I'd have to stop the download and restart it and it'll show it's 98.5% or something)

GG & Eclipse are best friends (quoted from GG site). They are almost one in the same, except Eclipse spends a lot more time in editing and qc.

Bad files from GG? I don't think I've ever had that problem while torrenting... But like [livejournal.com profile] gatekeepers_21 says, they and Eclipse are nearly one in the same when it comes to what the subtitles are. So, I don't think it would hurt if you switched between the two.

I can't watch .mkv files without it messing up all most some of my computer files so yea, Eclipse is the way to go. 8|b

I go gg, but thats mainly cause I watched all of season 1 with them.

But I hear nothing but good things from Eclipse.

I don't know if it's only my computer, but everytime i watch gg's mkv files, it really goes not sync-ed. That is the same for all computers i've been tried on. I definitely love Eclipse's work.
