First of all, May I request cleaned shots of the ending animation? I heard CLAMP did it (and if I read the credits right). Someone did the same thing for the last ED, if I remember correctly.

Secondly, here is my reaction to the uber epic new opening:
The Opening moved me to tears. There was Lulu floating... and then he takes off his contact lens... haha... It made me so gay for lelouch. Then there was the ransom Lulu-CC-Suzaku-Nunally-Schneizel flashing, then "Code Geass" flashing in a very, very nice manner.
The floating Kallen, Gino and Anya was beautiful, although Nina kinda ruined the moment. Then the sword of Akasha thing with the Knightmare taking off started making my eyes misty and all... haha.
...Nunally with that crane is pretty WTF.
...Everything is heart. <3 (at least that's the eclipse transliteration)
...looks like Lancelot's gonna have an upgrade with things from Guren. haha. Lloyd must be pleased with himself.
...The random black knights... flying was so epic. Although they were moving too fast to notice. Then Kaguya in all her cuteness flies by. Then come the chinese federation folks all winking at us, then Cornelia looking at Guilford (I smell pairing), and then Cecille and Lloyd, smiling! *dies*
...Then next comes Milly, and Rivalz and Nunally's guardian (forgot the name). And then there was Orange-kun looking at Viletta, and Viletta looking disgusted, by the way. Kanon and Nina (What, no Schneizel?!?), and finally, Loli Anya flight. Rolo drops in, and then Sayoko gets squished by Cheese-kun and that other plush Kallen was wearing and turns into a super ninja maid. lol. Arthur zooms by for half a second and Gino flips his cape... and then, CC smiles from a building. :)

Sayako's transformation into super neenjah sayako pretty much makes me lol all over.

One of the first posts has some screencaps, but I think the animators timed the credits oddly so you couldn't get clean shots of the whole images. I'm betting these illustrations will be added as postcards to a future DVD release (like the first set were).

The random flying past of characters was love. Even Anya smiled! But Gino? Why is Gino angsty? D=
I love the ending illustrations too <3 The Nunally one is one of my favorites, as it the X-like one at the end of Suzaku and Lulu.
BTW, am I the only one who thought Lulu looked like Kaname in the second-to-last ED pic?(no subject)
No you are not. I also couldn't helping seeing a blond Doumeki in Schneizel.

Kanon appearing was all I needed to love the opening. ♥The ending was just great. Love all of the new illustrations. Finally got a Schneizel in there along with other characters for once, hehe!

They just build you up with happy music, sparkles, and rainbow spewing cranes only to tear you down with FREAKING cliffhangers, nostalgic and saddening pictures, and depressing, almost morbid sounding music.

I do like the opening though. The images are a nice change from previous openings. The happy sounding music and bright colors just has me concerned though >_>
