Yep. I was actually cosplaying Ashford! Suzaku xD;

Did you have a friend go with you as Lelouch? If so, I saw you many times. I live 20 minutes away from the hotel too. Ohayocon has spoiled me, I was used to so much better...

Yep, that was us. We were suppose to have a C.C. but she had a tournament that weekend.

Twinsburg/Solon

It was great so see some CG cosplayers there. The anime club I went with was of the mind that this was the con for people who had only watched anime on CN as there was a severe overabundance of Death Note/Naruto/Final Fantasy cosplay.

nearly no one there knew what Gurren Laggan was. Hence the name Failcon

Not to mention epicly bad TTGL cosplayers. I wore pre-time jump Rossiu for a bit on Friday, and yet no one had a freakin' clue to who I was. So I changed into Suzaku. But yeah, it failed because everyone that goes to failcon just about watches anime on CN and CN only. It's really sad.

But I've been going to Ohayo Con since '02. Twas my first con too back then.

Are you going to Ikasu Con by chance next week?

No I won't be going. Failcon was the first con outside of Ohayocon that i've ever attended. And after failcon, I'm a little gunshy about attending others.

Oh I can definalty let you know what cons in the area it's worth hitting up. For one, Youma Con this October is worth the trip to Detroit. It's my all time favorite con, other then Otakon.
